The Chisholm Connector is officially complete and already bringing people together! 🚴‍♂️🚶‍♀️✨

Whether you’re on a bike, an e-bike, or out for a walk, this new 4–5 ft wide trail offers a smooth, welcoming ride for beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

Here is a quick look at how the route breaks down:

• 1.3 miles of scenic, in-woods trails
• 0.4 miles running parallel to the Chisholm Causeway
• Final stretch bringing you right into Chisholm’s Downtown district

Try mountain biking for FREE tomorrow at the Redhead MTB Park trailhead! A whole bunch of awesome community collaborators are working together to put on another Mountain Bike Try-It Night. 🚴🏾‍♀️

Cruise along the pump track. Test yourself on the skills course. Venture forth onto Redhead's green trails. Bikes and helmets will be provided for you, (or bring your own) and local enthusiasts will be here to help.

There will be jersey and helmet giveaways! North Haven Coffee and Street Tacos and Eats will be there!

Also, stop on over to MDC for our final Bands, Brews, & BBQ: Ryder Grove and grab some delicious BBQ and hear live music from our very own, Ryder Grove from 4:30-8:00pm!!!

Join us at Redhead Mountain Bike Park for a fun, beginner-friendly Mountain Bike Try-It Night. Riders of all ages and skill levels are welcome!

Hosted by 30West Bike Shop, Ridetherange, Iron Range Off-Road Cyclists, Chisholm KIDS PLUS, the Rock Ridge MTB, the Mesabi Trail, the Free Wheelers Bike Program, the City of Chisholm, and the Minnesota Discovery Center.

• 4:30-7:00pm ~ Pump Track & Skills Course lessons + small group rides on the trails
• 4:30-5:30pm ~ Meet the Rock Ridge MTB Team! These young experts will be ready with tips and encouragement
• Throughout the event ~ Grab food and drinks from North Haven Coffee and Street Tacos and Eats
• 7:00pm ~ Event concludes; enjoy free admission at MDC until 8:00pm

Whether it’s your first ride or you’re looking to build confidence on the trails, this is the perfect chance to hit the trails and discover why is one of the fastest-growing outdoor sports. 🚲🌲🙌

🥾 INAUGURAL “HIJACKED BY HIKERS” EVENT THIS SUNDAY! 🥾

Redhead Mountain Bike Park is opening up to foot traffic for a special one-day event this Sunday, August 16th!

For one day only, hikers will be permitted on all trails across the park. Whether you’re looking to explore new scenic viewpoints or experience trails that are normally bike-only, this is your chance!

What you need to know for Sunday:

🥾 For Hikers: Please watch for posted signage directing foot traffic, stay alert, and yield appropriately on steep or technical terrain.

🚲 For Bikers: Please exercise extra caution on all trails throughout the day! Be vigilant, watch your speed around blind corners, and anticipate hikers on trails that are normally off-limits to foot traffic.

Let’s keep everyone safe and make this first-ever event a fantastic day on the dirt! Thank you for sharing the trails and looking out for one another.

🚵‍♂️💥 Mountain Bike Try-It-Night Was a Smashing Success! 💥🚵‍♀️

We had a wonderful turnout at last night’s event and loved seeing so many riders out on the trails! Even a few participants walked away with some awesome prizes‼️🎁

At Redhead MTB Park, we want everyone to know: Mountain biking is for EVERYONE. No matter your age or skill level, we are here to provide the opportunity for you to get out and ride.
