Summer is calling! Registration for our always-popular Adult Coed Sand Volleyball League is officially LIVE! ☀️

Gather your squad and secure your spot before the deadline on May 22nd. 📝 Pro Tip: Only the Team Captain needs to complete the registration for the whole team!

🥎 We Need Umpires for the 2026 Softball Season!
Love the game and want to stay involved in the community? We’re looking for umpires to join our team and help make this season fair and fun for everyone!

The Details:
Season Starts: May 27th

When: Every Wednesday at 6:00 PM & 7:00 PM (through August 19, 2026)

Where: Pergot and lower softball fields

Wage: $30 per game in CASH 💵

Your Role:
- Call balls and strikes
- Make fair/foul decisions
- Keep the games running smoothly
- Enjoy being part of our local softball culture!

⚽️ Attention 2026 Chisholm Soccer Families!

The temps are rising, and the season is right around the corner! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have 115 youth athletes registered for our Chisholm program this year. That is an incredible turnout and a true testament to how much our community loves the Spring Soccer season!

😎 Summer is calling! Early Bird Registration for CSRP 2026 is LIVE! 😎

Keep your kids active, engaged, and having fun this summer with the Chisholm Summer Recreation Program! We offer 7 weeks of flexible, choose-your-own-adventure programming for youth entering grades 2 and up.

Why kids love CSRP:

🤸‍♀️ Daily choices: Sports, crafts, or just hanging out!

🚌 Awesome field trips: 1-2 times a week (at no extra cost!)

💦 Splash Pad days: Cooling off at least twice a week.

🏆 Points System: Earn points for participating to win a spot on our final Award Field Trip!

Hello, City of Chisholm Residents! 👋

You may have noticed some demolition work happening at Longyear Lake Park recently. We are pleased to announce that the park is getting a major makeover!

Coming this summer, Longyear Lake Park will be upgraded with:

🏓6 new Pickleball Courts

🏀1 full-size Basketball Court

🛹1 new Skatepark / Junior Pump Track

Additionally, our Tennis Courts will be relocating to Memorial Park, right next to the Sand Volleyball Courts. 🎾

Construction will take place throughout the summer. While we are still in the early stages of these projects, we are incredibly excited to share this news with you. The Chisholm Parks & Recreation Department is committed to providing safe, quality, and accessible recreational spaces for residents of all ages.

Summer 2026 is going to be a busy season of building, but we can't wait for you to experience the new and improved Longyear Lake! 🚧🌳
