This buck was shot last night and when the blood ended, they asked us to help out this morning. This buck didn’t go far but he would have been difficult to find this morning as he was covered in leaves! This is typical behavior of bobcats. Congrats to the hunter! Good job Tikka!!

Trenton shot this buck last night and knew the entrance was high/back so he backed out and waited until this morning to track. Smart choice! Unfortunately the blood quickly ran out so he called for help. We showed up this afternoon and Ammo marched us right to his buck! Ammo has come a long way this season, she reads like a book and it’s really fun watching her put the pieces together. Congrats Trenton! Good job Ammo!!

Ammo got to help another hunter fill their freezer! The rain was coming down fast and the hunter couldn’t find any blood. We tracked this doe last night but when we found her, she got up and stared Ammo in the face before running off. So we backed out and came back this morning and found her in short order. This is your reminder that even though the rain washes out visual sign for us, it’s no problem for the dog! Congrats to the hunter! Good job Ammo!!

So proud of this girl!! Tikka had her oldest recovery tonight at 48 hours. This deer was shot Sunday evening and also had a drone out last night. Unfortunately the wolves also found him, but this was some very impressive dog work! Congrats to the hunter! Good job Tikka!!

This buck was shot last night and when the blood ran out, they called for help. Thank you to fellow tracker Schmid Taxidermy & Deer Recovery for the referral! Tikka made quick work finding this buck, with only 1 drop of blood to be seen from the hunter’s point of loss. Unfortunately the coyotes also found him. Congrats to the hunter! Good job Tikka!

Both girls recovered some nice big does after the hunters were unable to find any blood. We tracked Ammo’s doe last night and it was still alive when we found it, but not doing well and likely expired within a few hours. We tracked Tikka’s doe this morning. Congrats to the happy hunters on your freezer queens!
We’ve been on a handful of tracks prior to these, but haven’t posted any recovery pics because we’ve been on a streak of live deer. Several of those hunters already have their deer back on camera, thank you so much to those hunters for sharing! Having that confirmation means so much to us!

We had our first bear track of the season this morning and Tikka had us standing over this bear in just a few minutes! It was so thick that I was crawling on my hands & knees behind her and you couldn’t see this bear until you’re almost stepping on it. This bear only left a little blood at the hit site and nothing more. Congrats Brent! Good job Tikka!!
