Marshfield Motor Speedway Marshfield Motor Speedway is a paved 1/2 mile race track 3 miles west of Marshfield, WI Langreck in 1972.

Marshfield Motor Speedway is a half-mile asphalt oval constructed by Jim Langreck. Located in Marshfield, WI, the land the track sits on was originally purchased by Mr. After five years of work he opened the track as a half-mile clay oval in 1977. Over the years the track emerged from humble beginnings with the addition of additional seating and parking, a food service building, a sit down eating

area for families and the tracks own generator system for power. The largest undertaking by far was the paving of the track in 1995 for the start of the 1996 racing season. Since that time Marshfield Motor Speedway has brought the thrill of high-speed asphalt racing to the fans of Central Wisconsin. The wide progressively banked half-mile with sweeping turns will again feature Super Late Model action on Saturday Nights from April through September during the 2009 season. Also on the weekly racing program are the Super Stocks, Junkyard Warriors, Pure Stocks and 4 Cylinders. Plus be sure to check out the schedule for other divisions of racing including the popular Motorcycle races, where the daredevils of two-wheels thrill the fans. In addition to an exciting weekly racing program, Marshfield Motor Speedway hosts a Fall Spectacular in the middle of September each year. The two day event showcases numerous divisions taking to the high speed oval for a showcase of speed. Twice each season Marshfield Motor Speedway also hosts the Wisconsin Challenge Series which brings the finest Super Late Model pilots in the Midwest to the oval. Finally, for those fans who enjoy metal mangling mayhem, look no further than the Eve of Devastation programs, featuring crazy stunts and novelty racing events of every variety.

Race Fans,
one of the biggest shows in the Midwest is this Saturday, the Bob & Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial. The TUNDRA Super Late Models are expecting a large field of cars for the final memorial race, in memory of Bob & Bev.
Also, reports are in that the Midwest Truck Series is expecting over 30 trucks for their annual visit to the half-mile paved oval.
Also, being a National Qualifier for the INEX Legends, we are expecting around 30 cars to compete for the Aschenbrenner Memorial Trophy!
Three great divisions, one night, this Saturday at Marshfield Motor Speedway!

MIKE GARMS TOPS FIELD IN MID-STATE TECHNICAL COLLEGE EVE OF DEVASTATION!

Marshfield, WI, (June 6, 2026) - An incredible crowd filled the stands at Marshfield Motor Speedway, as they witnessed a night full of thrills, as drivers competed under the lights at the Mid-State Technical College Eve of Devastation!

Dominating many events and being crowned champion, was Mike Garms. Garm's captured two first-place finishes, and also two runner up spots, earning top honors.

GOOD MORNING, EVE OF DEVASTATION FANS!
HAPPY RACE DAY!
Tonight, it's the Mid-State Technical College Eve of Devastation!
Pit gate opens at 5pm, Fan gate opens at 6pm, with the exciting Eve of Devastation set to begin at 7pm!
Weather looks great, no rain! Stay cool this afternoon and drink plenty of liquids! However, tonight will be very comfortable with temps in the 70's, dropping into the upper 60's by the end of our event!
Come on out tonight and enjoy a great night of family fun and exciting events!

Anyone under 18 needs to fill out the minor release paperwork, but noone under 18 can run in an event. Below is a link to the minor paperwork to get that done ahead of time.
