You did nothing wrong.

If you’ve recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia, I want you to hear that first.

Not before the supplements. Not before the exercise plan. Not before the Google searches and fear.

You did nothing wrong.

So many women feel shame after diagnosis.“I should have lifted weights sooner.”“I should have eaten better.”“I should have known.”

But bone loss is complex.

Hormones.Genetics.Stress.Dieting culture.Autoimmune conditions.Medications.Menopause.A lifetime of caregiving before self-care.

This diagnosis is not a punishment. It’s information.

And information gives you a place to begin.

You do not have to become fearful of movement. You do not have to stop living. You do not have to become fragile.

In many ways, this can become the beginning of learning how to truly support your body — with strength, nourishment, balance, posture, stability, and confidence.

Small steps matter.

A short walk.Learning how to hinge safely.Adding protein.Improving balance.Strength training appropriately.Sleeping better.Reducing overwhelm.

You don’t have to do everything at once.

You just need a starting point.

That’s exactly why I created my bone-safe movement education, virtual Pilates training, and free Bone Safe Guide — to help women move forward with clarity instead of fear.

One thing I’ve learned on my wellness journey is that healthy aging is built through the small things we do consistently.

Strength training.
Good nutrition.
Sleep.
Stress management.
And supportive supplements.

Lately I’ve been adding Annatrol™ from Healthy Bones Co. into my routine because I was interested in the research around tocotrienols and bone health support in postmenopausal women.*

It combines plant-based tocotrienols and GG (Geranylgeraniol) to support healthy aging, bone wellness, and overall vitality.*

For me, supplements are never the whole picture — just one more tool to support strength, longevity, and feeling well long term.

Part of my:
Move Well.
Nourish Well.
Regulate Well.
Supplement Well.
approach 💛

Plank isn’t just core… it’s bone-building.

Most people think of plank as an ab exercise.
But when done well, it’s a full-body loading pattern that supports strength, posture, and bone resilience.

Here’s why I teach it 👇

🦴 Bone Benefits
Plank creates isometric loading through the wrists, arms, shoulders, and spine
→ This gentle, sustained load helps stimulate bone strength (especially important for osteopenia/osteoporosis)

💪 Strength Benefits

* Deep core activation (without spinal flexion)
* Shoulder + upper body strength
* Glute + leg engagement (yes, it’s not just arms!)
* Teaches whole-body tension + control

You might think vertigo is just an “ear thing”…
But there’s actually a deeper connection happening in the body.

✨ Here’s what we’re learning:

👉 The most common type of vertigo (called BPPV) is caused by tiny calcium crystals in your inner ear shifting out of place.

👉 These crystals are made of calcium… just like your bones.

👉 When bone density declines (osteoporosis), calcium regulation in the body can change — and that may affect those inner ear crystals.

✨ What the research is showing:

• Women with osteoporosis have a higher risk of developing vertigo
• The risk can be up to 1.5–1.8x higher in some studies
• Osteoporosis is also linked to recurrent vertigo episodes
• This is especially true in postmenopausal women 60+

✨ Why this matters:

Vertigo isn’t just uncomfortable…
It increases fall risk — and falls are one of the biggest dangers when bones are already fragile.

✨ The takeaway:

Bone health isn’t just about preventing fractures.
It may also play a role in your balance, stability, and confidence moving through the world.

✔️ Strength training
✔️ Bone-loading movement
✔️ Vitamin D + calcium support
✔️ Balance training

These aren’t “optional” as we age…
They’re protective.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear after an osteoporosis diagnosis is:

“I guess I shouldn’t lift weights anymore.”

But bone is living tissue.
And bone responds to mechanical load.

When we apply load with good alignment and progressive strength training, we can support both muscle and bone.

That doesn’t mean jumping into heavy workouts right away.

It means learning how to move well, build strength gradually, and train intelligently.

Strong muscles protect bones.

This is exactly what I’m building inside my upcoming strength library for women in midlife who want to feel capable and confident again.

Because osteoporosis does not mean fragile.
It means we train smarter.
