Stage 6 — Blue Jay 💙

This is where the course changes for our full-course racers. Middle School and Beginners are finished, while everyone else heads to Blue Jay for Stage 6.

Another Poca fan favorite — fast, flowy and just a really fun trail to ride. We'll have some tired riders but the trail is perfect to pick your spirit back up.

After this, it’s Moonshine for Stage 7 and then Blueberry Downhill to finish it out.🤘

POCAGO COURSE PREVIEW | STAGE 3: BELL DH 🔔💨

Time to let it roll.

Stage 3 is all about finding your flow!! 😎

The video starts in the staging area, then slows down so you can spot the blue Shimano tape marking the start of the timed segment. Once you cross that line, it’s GO time.

Find your flow, carry your speed, and make it count all the way down. 🤘

Stage 2 stays on JT, but this time racers drop into the Timberdoodle section. It’s a short, fast downhill where carrying speed, choosing your line and staying smooth can make all the difference.

Stay tuned through the week as we provide some live trail footage of each stage!

Special thanks to the amazing volunteers race coordinators that set the stage for a great event and race course 🗺️ Lots of brains and lots of different hands made this possible. 🥳 🙌

And of course a huge thanks to our beloved Pocahontas State Park trails team led by Clark Jones and joined by countless volunteers for building and maintaining all the things that bring us so much joy on two wheels!! 🚲 💙

We hope you can join us October 3 for a fresh event building community and giving back to our trails!!

Race Format:

Middle School riders + Beginner field will race stages 1-5 in order. 1👉2👉3 👉4👉5

ALL other racers will race all 7 stages: 1 👉 2 👉 3 👉 4 👉 6 👉 7 👉 5

Time to get out there and explore the course!
