Big time weekend for Ironbridge Softball!! 🔥🥎

Congratulations to our Ironbridge Academy Softball 2033 (10U) team on bringing home the 🥎 DC Fastpitch Commonwealth Cup Championship 🏆

This group absolutely showed out all weekend:
▪️ 7-1 overall record
▪️ Outscored opponents 76-19
▪️ Pitching staff combined for 28 IP with a 2.13 ERA

And capped it off with a thrilling 7-6 championship win 💪

Also, shoutout to our 18U Lacks team for an outstanding weekend, finishing as the Rock and Fire Gold Runners-Up 👏

Proud of the work, the fight, and the way all of our teams competed this weekend. Ironbridge continues to raise the standard! 🔴⚪🔵

We’re fired up to officially welcome Hannah Tober to our Ironbridge Softball Summer Camp instructor staff!

A former standout at New Kent High School and rising sophomore at University of Virginia, Hannah brings elite-level experience, leadership, and a passion for the game that our athletes are going to benefit from in a BIG way.

💥 High School Accolades:
• VHSL Record Holder – Most Career Doubles
• 2025 VA Class 3 State, Region & District Player of the Year
• 4x First-Team All-State, All-Region & All-District
• 4x Richmond All-Metro Selection
• 3-Year Team Captain

💥 College Career:
• Started 13 games as a Freshman
• NCAA Regional Participant

Hannah knows what it takes to compete and succeed at the highest levels—and now she’s bringing that knowledge directly to our campers.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the athletes and families who participated in the first round of Ironbridge Softball tryouts this week! 🥎

We were blown away by the level of participation, effort, and talent on display. Our coaches have extended first-round offers to some athletes, but the evaluation process is not over!

If your athlete has not yet received an offer, we encourage them to attend our second round of tryouts on June 23 or June 24. Our coaches would love the opportunity to see them compete one more time and showcase their skills.

Congratulations to three of our own, Raven Crabtree, Hayden Longacre, and Savannah Wright, for bringing home the Class 5 State Championship today!!

These girls had a phenomenal state championship performance, they combined 6-10 with a home run and 6 RBIs in the state semifinal and then Raven had the walk off hit in the bottom of the 7th with two outs to win the state championship!!

Great job ladies!

The wait is over — it’s time to compete, showcase your skills, and earn your spot with Ironbridge Academy! We’re looking for dedicated athletes ready to train hard, compete at a high level, and be part of something special this upcoming season. 💪⚡

Whether you’re stepping on the field to prove yourself or taking your game to the next level, these tryouts are your opportunity to join an academy built on development, competition, and championship culture. 🏆
