• Specializes in pitching mechanics & velocity development

🙏 FAITH NIGHT | WHAT A NIGHT! 🙏

Tonight at Ironbridge Softball was about so much more than softball.

We were blessed to hear powerful messages from our guest speakers, Cassie & Jason, spend time in worship, come together in prayer, and most importantly, be reminded of a truth that every young athlete needs to hear:

Your identity is not your sport.
Your identity is not your position.
Your identity is not your title.
Your identity is not defined by wins, losses, statistics, or what others think of you.

Your identity is found in WHOSE YOU ARE. ❤️

Sports can be a huge part of our lives, but they were never meant to define who we are. Titles can change. Teams change. Seasons end. Circumstances change.

But our identity in Christ remains.

Tonight was a reminder to our athletes that before they are pitchers, catchers, shortstops, teammates, champions, or competitors…

They are children of God.

What an incredible night of worship, prayer, encouragement, and truth. We are so thankful to Cassie & Jason for pouring into our athletes and our community.

Play hard. Lead well. Compete with purpose. But never forget WHOSE you are. 🙏❤️

Meet Our Second Guest Speaker 🙏

We’re honored to welcome Jason Stender as one of our two powerful guest speakers for Ironbridge Softball Faith Night this Sunday!

Jason is a husband, father, lifelong athlete, and follower of Christ living right here in Chester, Virginia. His journey has been one of service, leadership, sacrifice, and protecting others.

From starting as an ocean lifeguard at just 16, to serving as an EMT, Marine Corps combat engineer, county police officer, and FBI Special Agent, Jason has spent his life answering the call to serve. His career even took him and his family to Puerto Rico for four years.

A Virginia Tech engineering graduate and passionate athlete, Jason brings a unique perspective on faith, leadership, purpose, and what it means to serve others.

We can’t wait for our young athletes and families to hear his story and the message God has placed on his heart. 🙏

👻 3 Game Guarantee
🎃 Teams create Trunk-or-Treat pop-up tents
🍬 Players & families Trick-or-Treat from 12:00–1:30 PM
🧙 Teams are encouraged to wear costumes!

🔥 FAITH NIGHTS ARE BACK AT IRONBRIDGE! 🙏

We’re getting excited to kick off another season of Faith Nights at Ironbridge Softball, bringing our athletes, families, and community together for a night centered around FAITH • FAMILY • PURPOSE.

And we’re excited to announce one of our first guest speakers… Cassie Grizzard! 🙌

Cassie is a recent Virginia Tech graduate who has an incredible softball and faith journey. She played her high school ball at Midlothian High School before continuing her collegiate career at Louisville and Virginia Tech.

While at Virginia Tech, Cassie also served as President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), using her platform to encourage and impact fellow student-athletes through her faith.

We can’t wait for Cassie to join us and bring a powerful word to our athletes and families! We know her story, experiences, and heart for sharing her faith will make this a special night.
