The wait is over — it’s time to compete, showcase your skills, and earn your spot with Ironbridge Academy! We’re looking for dedicated athletes ready to train hard, compete at a high level, and be part of something special this upcoming season. 💪⚡

Whether you’re stepping on the field to prove yourself or taking your game to the next level, these tryouts are your opportunity to join an academy built on development, competition, and championship culture. 🏆

📅 TRYOUT DATES:
🔹 10U / 14U — June 9 | 6 PM (Turf Field)
🔹 12U / 16U — June 10 | 6 PM (Turf Field)
🔹 8U — June 14 | 4:30 PM (Dirt Field)
🔹 12U / 14U — June 23 | 6 PM (Dirt Field)
🔹 10U / 16U — June 24 | 6 PM (Turf Field)

Each age level will have first and second year teams!!

⚾️ Limited spots remain for our July Ironbridge Baseball Camp! ⚾️

Join us for a week of baseball instruction, skill development, competitions, and plenty of fun. Campers will enjoy games and activities including kickball, wiffle ball, dodgeball, relay races, a water balloon toss, slip and slide, and more!

🍕 Lunch is provided daily. Ages 7-12

We’re excited to host our 2nd Ironbridge Summer Slam Tournament this weekend! This event is designed specifically for younger and first-year 10U teams, giving them a great opportunity to compete, grow, and gain valuable game experience.

🥎 Introducing the Ironbridge 8U Travel Softball Coaching Staff 🥎

We are excited to officially introduce the coaching staff for our new Ironbridge 8U travel softball team — a group of experienced coaches, former athletes, and passionate mentors dedicated to building a positive, competitive, and development-focused environment for young athletes.

🥎 Head Coach Kelly Rust Rice

A former Virginia Wesleyan University standout pitcher and 3-time All-ODAC selection, Kelly brings more than 24 years of coaching and player development experience to the program. A Verizon Academic All-American and NCAA Woman of the Year nominee, Kelly has worked with athletes at every level, including helping develop a 3-time National Champion and National Player/Pitcher of the Year. With extensive pitching instruction experience, Kelly is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, leadership, and a strong foundation both on and off the field.

🥎 Head Coach Danielle Steel Bolt

Former Christopher Newport University softball player (3rd base) and two-time conference champion, Danielle Bolt also earned All-Region, All-Capital District, and All-Academic honors at Lee-Davis High School (2nd base). She has coached at the travel, high school junior varsity, and Little League levels. Danielle is passionate about building strong fundamentals, fostering confidence, and instilling a love for the game in this next generation of athletes – emphasizing that how you play the game matters just as much, if not more than the final score.

🥎 Assistant Coach Allie Fagan

A former catcher at Chowan University and standout player at Ocean Lakes High School, Allie brings strong leadership, softball IQ, and game knowledge to the coaching staff. In addition to her collegiate playing experience, she is also an experienced Chesterfield Little League coach who is dedicated to helping athletes grow in confidence, teamwork, and softball fundamentals.

🥎 Assistant Coach Ashley Wiseman

Ashley brings years of softball experience and Little League coaching experience to the team. A former high school softball player, Ashley is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where young athletes can learn, compete, and build confidence while developing a love for the game.

Together, these four female athletes and experienced coaches are committed to building more than just softball players. As wives, moms, and successful career women, they understand the importance of hard work, balance, leadership, and the life skills sports can teach both on and off the field.

We are excited to begin this journey and help grow the next generation of softball players at Ironbridge! 💙🥎❤️

We’re excited to welcome our newest instructor to Ironbridge Summer Camp!

Please join us in welcoming Kaileigh Byars!

A former standout at Hanover High School and a rising sophomore outfielder at University of South Carolina, Kai brings outstanding experience, energy, and knowledge of the game to our camp staff.

Our outfielders will have an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the top players to come out of our area, and we know they'll benefit from her passion and expertise.

We're thrilled to have Kai back with us this summer and can't wait for camp to get started!
