Asking a race-car brain to do tedious tasks is INSANELY torturous. 😝 It might not make sense to you, but it does explain why you’d rather:

- clean your house than balance your checkbook
- balance your checkbook than clean your house
- organize your junk drawer than get your taxes ready
- get your taxes ready than organize your junk drawer

For students, basic math fact practice can put ‘em over the edge. And for parents, you may feel exactly the same, which doesn’t help those painful facts get practiced.
