“We promise to use our Jiu-Jitsu to lift people up” is a phrase in our students creed that we say at the end of every kids and juniors class.
Good sportsmanship comes from good team culture. Here, a group of friends that have trained together since they were 10 and 11, came up with a tradition of honoring their friend’s belt promotion by carrying them across the mats afterwards in congratulation. They came up with this one their own and have done it for years ❤️ and I couldn’t be more proud of them.
