Charlotte Aquatic Center We offer 2 pools-- A ninety-one degree, warm water therapy pool and an 83 degree large competition pool. Guest fee for open swim is $5/person.

Summer schedule begins tomorrow. We are so excited to have a full pool. The best time to bring the kids swimming is for 90 minutes between 1:00 and 4:30. You can drop the kids off for $5 each. The first field trip of the year is one week away. Friday, June 12th we will travel to The Henry Ford Museum. We will leave the Aquatic Center at 9am and return by 5pm. Parents can send the kids with us, or you are welcome to join us with a background check on file with the district. $25 covers the cost of transportation, admission, and chaperones. Calling all families with young children. Every Saturday morning we have Saturday Morning Cartoons in our warm water therapy pool. It is the perfect setting to help your child get comfortable and safe in and around the water. We will play young child cartoons on our large screen tv while you enjoy time in the water with toys, strainers, and other items to help your child get acclimated to the water. We charge $10 per family (Parents and children) This fun time will be from 9:00 - 10:00am and our young child swimming lessons begin at 10am. Join in on the fun. Come see us this Saturday.

The Charlotte Aquatic Center and Oriole Recreation are proud to host a Lego Building Club this summer held at Charlotte Upper Elementary. This club will be held daily Monday - Thursday for two weeks from June 15th - June 25th. You can pair this with our Triple P afternoon playground and drop the kids off at 10am and pick them up at 5pm. Let us keep the kids busy and happy this summer. Diving Lessons are back! Our Learn to Dive program begins again on Monday, June 8th from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Lessons are daily Monday - Thursday from June 8th - June 25th. The next session is July 6th - July 30th. Come learn to dive with Coach Luke, our varsity coach. We begin in our dryland facility with a trampoline and dryboard then we will move into the water to practice. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring your suit and towel. Registration is open now.
