⚔️ Practice Recap — Wednesday Night ⚔️
We were excited to welcome a new saberist to the training floor as they took their first steps into the world of saber combat. Every great fighter starts somewhere, and there is something special about watching a new student begin the journey toward becoming a modern-day gladiator.
The evening focused on the fundamentals—stance work, movement, guards, basic attacks, and defensive concepts. Once the foundations were laid, our newest student got their first introduction to armored combat and what it means to step into the arena.
There is a moment when training stops being something you watch and becomes something you experience. Putting on armor, taking hold of a saber, and facing an opponent for the first time is a feeling unlike any other.
Watching new students discover that excitement reminds us why we do what we do.
Our academy continues to grow, our fighters continue to improve, and with several exciting projects still ahead of us this year, the action is far from over.
