So, let’s discuss the most exciting, family kayaking, event of the summer.
1. You have two trips to choose from; a long trip and a short trip. You can personalize this trip for you and your family’s needs. Choose the long trip to challenge yourself or the shorter trip for your family if you need to.
2. When you drop your kayak off on Friday, you can be comforted knowing your kayak will be watched all night long by security.
3. When you check in Saturday at Coonskin, you will board a bus and be driven to your kayak location.
4. You will have help having your kayak placed in the water, helped in to your kayak, and then launched.
5. As you float down the river, you can enjoy the beauty of the Elk River. Watch the wildlife on the banks. Look to the skies and the trees and see the birds. Remember, to keep your eyes peeled for the bald eagles that are seen yearly on the trip. Soak in the beauty of WV.
6. Bring your snacks. Bring your drinks. Enjoy the day.
7. When you reach the end, you will be helped out of the kayak, and your KAYAK will be CARRIED from the water for YOU, and help loaded. You will be catered too.
