🏁 CORTEZ FAIRGROUNDS SPEEDWAY — CHECKED OFF THE LIST! 🏁

Last night we got to experience another new track at Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway!

First off, the drive from Aztec to Cortez through Durango was BEAUTIFUL! 🏔️ Definitely wish we had an extra day to hang out and explore Durango a little more.

Cortez was definitely a different track than anything I’ve ever raced on. Dusty, dry slick, and it felt like you were almost turning the entire lap! 😂

Started 6th in my heat and finished 5th.

Since we don’t have any points there, we had to start in the back for the main. By feature time the track was REALLY dry, and entering the corners was a little sketchy when you could barely see what was in front of you. 😳

But I managed to race through what my Uncle called a “dust devil” 🌪️😂, kept the car in one piece, stayed out of trouble and brought it home 8th!

Not exactly the type of racing I’m used to, but that’s what this trip was about — trying new tracks, learning different surfaces and getting more seat time. Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway… ✔️ CHECKED OFF THE LIST!

Now we’re headed HOME! 🏠 After two new tracks and a whole lot of miles, it’s time to wash everything, do some maintenance and get ready to go racing again.

🏁 AZTEC SPEEDWAY RECAP ➡️ ON TO CORTEZ! 🏁

Last night was my first time racing at Aztec Speedway! We had to start in the back of the heat and went 7th ➡️ 4th — not too shabby for my first laps around the place! 🤘

That lined us up 10th in the main event. The track was slick and the car was just a little too tight. I was running 10th when someone got into me and taco’d the left rear, ending our night early. 😬

Definitely not how we wanted to finish, but it was still a lot of fun getting to experience another new track! I’m sure we’ll be back to give Aztec another shot in the future. 👊

Today we’re loaded up and on the move to Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway for ANOTHER new track! 🏁🔥 Hoping for a little better luck and a good run tonight!

🏁🎉 HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY, ETHAN! 🎉🏁

Today our driver officially levels up to 14 YEARS OLD! 🥳

What a year 13 was — his rookie season in an IMCA Modified, a whole lot of learning, some awesome battles, podium finishes, and topping it all off by becoming the 2026 Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway IMCA Modified Track Champion! 🏆🔥

It’s pretty crazy to think this kid has already been racing for 10 years and is just getting started. We couldn’t be more proud of the young man and racer he’s becoming. Keep chasing those checkered flags, keep working hard, and most importantly, keep having FUN doing what youh love!

🏁 GOOD, HARD RACING! 🏁

Saturday night’s heat race was a fun one! Started on the pole and had some good, hard racing with Austin Kuehl in the 77X. 🔥

We were running good and feeling good, battling it out lap after lap. I had a little slip-up, and Austin was right there to take advantage and get around me.

This is the kind of racing that makes you better! 💪🏼 Nothing but respect when you can race someone hard, run inches apart, and have a blast doing it.
