🏁 WEEKEND RECAP – COCOPAH SPEEDWAY! 🏁

Another new track checked off the list! ✅

We headed down to Yuma this weekend to support the opening weekend at Cocopah Speedway and get some laps in at another track I’ve never raced at before!

THURSDAY – PRACTICE 🏁

Got a couple of practice sessions in, made some changes to the car, and started getting a feel for the track!

FRIDAY NIGHT – DRY SLICK! 🏜️

Man, was that track SLICK! Probably the slickest track I’ve ever raced on in the Modified! Definitely a learning experience, but we kept digging and moved forward in the main!

🏁 Heat Race: 5th ➡️ 5th
🏁 Main Event: 10th ➡️ 7th

SATURDAY NIGHT – HAMMER DOWN! 🔨💨

Talk about a completely different racetrack! Saturday was the total opposite of Friday. The track was HAMMER DOWN, especially ripping around the top in the main!

Had a pretty decent run going and was running 5th when a caution came out with 5 laps to go. On the restart, it felt like my tires had sealed over, and I slipped back to 8th. Managed to get one spot back before the checkered flag to bring home another 7th-place finish.

🏁 Heat Race: 5th ➡️ 3rd
🏁 Main Event: 4th ➡️ 7th

Overall, it was a fun weekend! I really liked Cocopah Speedway, and it was awesome getting to race somewhere new and experience two completely different track conditions in one weekend. Still learning, still improving, and getting more comfortable in this Modified every time I hit the track! 💪🏁

Already looking forward to coming back the first weekend of November!

🏁 Rest Easy, Shawn 🏁

The racing community lost a good one Friday night. My heart goes out to the family, friends, and everyone who loved Shawn.

I never got the opportunity to actually race on the track with Shawn, but I was lucky enough to know him and see the kind of person and racer he was. It’s hard to put into words how sad it is to lose someone from our racing family, especially while doing something we all love so much.

Racing is more than cars, trophies, and checkered flags. It’s the people you meet, the friendships you make, and the family you become along the way. Shawn was part of that family, and he will definitely be missed.

Sending lots of love and prayers to Shawn’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

Rest easy, “Showtime Shawn.” 🏁

Proud Mom & Dad moment! ❤️🏁📚

We couldn’t be more proud of Ethan! Racing takes up a HUGE part of his life, but he continues to prove that you can chase your dreams on the track and still take care of business in the classroom.

Between traveling to races, long weekends at the track, working on the race car, maintenance during the week, and constantly trying to learn and improve as a driver, he still puts in the work at school and came home with A’s and B’s at the end of the First Quarter! 📚💪

What makes us even more proud is watching his work ethic grow. He isn’t just showing up to race—he’s putting in the hours on the car, learning the setup, listening, working, and getting better every single time he hits the track. Then he turns around and puts that same effort into school.

At 14, balancing school, racing, working on the car, traveling, and everything else isn’t always easy, but this kid keeps grinding. There are definitely days when Mom and Dad have to stay on him 😂, but seeing results like this makes it all worth it.

Hard work pays off—on AND off the track. 🏁📚

Keep pushing, Ethan. Keep learning, keep working, and keep chasing those goals. Mom & Dad are incredibly proud of you! ❤️

🏁 ROOKIE YEAR — SO FAR! 🏁

When we started the 2026 season, the goal was pretty simple: SEAT TIME.

Get me as comfortable as possible in the Modified, race as much as we could, learn everything we could, and get experience at as many different tracks as possible.

So that’s exactly what we did! 💪

So far this year, we’ve raced at:
🏁 Central Arizona Raceway
🏁 Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway
🏁 Mohave Valley Raceway
🏁 Aztec Speedway
🏁 Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway

And as of today, we’ve run 37 races, making 24 Main Events, with:

🔥 18 Top 10 finishes
🔥 8 Top 5 finishes
🔥 6 Podium finishes

And the crazy part… we still have a TON of racing left in October and November!

This rookie year has already turned into more than we ever imagined.

At just 13 years old, I was able to make history and win the 2026 Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway IMCA Modified Track Championship. 🏆

Then we went on to win the 2026 IMCA Modified Arizona State Championship! 🏆🌵

Those definitely were not even on our radar when we started this season. We were just a little low-budget family race team trying to get laps, learn this car and get better every time we hit the track.

To say we’re proud of what this team has accomplished so far would be an understatement.

There have been good nights, bad nights, broken parts, late nights in the shop, long drives, new tracks, mistakes, lessons learned and a whole lot of memories made along the way.

We know we still have so much to learn and so much room to improve, but that’s what makes us even more excited about what’s ahead.

37 races down…and we’re not done yet. 😎🏁

October and November are going to be BUSY, and we’re ready for it!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this little team, helped us along the way, cheered me on, watched the races and believed in what we’re doing.

This rookie year has already been one heck of a ride…

And we can’t wait to see what the future holds. 🏁🏆
