Congratulations to Carthage senior wrestler Louden Elliott on his commitment to continue his academic and wrestling career at Hunter College!

Louden plans to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy/Exercise Science while competing at the collegiate level.

We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that have helped him reach this milestone. We can’t wait to watch him continue to grow and succeed both on the mat and in the classroom at the next level.

Good luck, Louden !! The future is bright! 💙💛 🤼

For many years, the Carthage Wrestling Program has proudly helped place flags at local cemeteries prior to Memorial Day.

This annual tradition is something we always look forward to, a small way to give back and honor those who served our country.

A huge thank you to this year’s crew: the Politini family, Deandre Dawkins, Andre Newman, Kamdyn Dorchester, and Mattingly Dorchester.

With the event being held on a Saturday this year, it was a little more difficult to gather the numbers we usually have, as track had an invitational and both JV and Varsity baseball had games. Even so, we were grateful for everyone who took the time to come out and help.

The VFW also hosted a cookout to thank the volunteers afterward, delicious and very much appreciated!

We’d also like to thank our local Veterans of Foreign Wars for everything they do throughout the year for our community and our veterans.
