to Cody Lackey and the legendary Flightleader

Every young cowgirl needs a good horse to show her the ropes, and Cody had one of the very best. Flightleader took care of her, challenged her when she needed it, and taught her a thing or two about confidence, grit, and how to cowgirl up.

Looking back, it’s easy to see why horses like this become the ones you never forget.

Working equitation is all about communication, balance, and precision — and Jil Walton and Rohma are putting all three to work.

Throwback Thursday — 2015

Taking it back to 2015 with Xtremely Xpensive, “George,” looking sharp in his TW Saddlery Classic Western saddle!

The Classic Western has been part of the TW Saddlery lineup for many years, combining a traditional western look with the comfort and adjustability of our patented fitting system. The TW Reining saddle is designed with a balanced, close-contact feel and compact skirts, making it a great choice for everything from arena work to long days of riding. And, like all of our saddles, it features our 3-D Adjustable Fit System to help create a customized fit for your horse.

Another feature that sets the Reining apart is its low-profile design. The Reining horn and cantle are the lowest-profile horn and cantle we offer, making it easier to swing a leg over the saddle. For riders with hip issues, limited mobility, or anyone who simply appreciates an easier mount and dismount, this can make a big difference!

We’re so proud to see longtime TW Saddlery rider Ada “Kitty” Kean and her incredible Tennessee Walking Horse mare, Sheza Real Deal “Angel,” in the WDAA World Champion Spotlight!

Kitty and Angel ride and show in a TW Saddlery Trail Light, fitted by Terry Peiper of FIT RIGHT SADDLE SOLUTIONS. What an incredible list of accomplishments these two have built together!

Congratulations, Kitty and Angel! We’re proud to have TW Saddlery along for the ride and can’t wait to see what’s next for this talented team!

World Champion Spotlight: Ada (Kitty) Kean & Sheza Real Deal ("Angel")

Angel is an eight-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse mare shown in WDAA Gaited Western Dressage (GWD) since 2020.

Angel is an 11x World Champion and 13x Reserve Champion at the Western Dressage World Show. She is also a 2x Reserve Division Champion in Intro/Basic Gaited Division.

In the Online International Challenge, she is 19-time International Champion and 4x Reserve Champion. Additionally she is a 4x Division Champion in Intro/Basic and a 5x high-score for the Tennessee Walking Horse breed for the Online International

Lastly, she has attained Register of Excellence in WDAA Horse Lifetime Points and Awards Program
