Lightweight 3D Adjustable Fitting Saddles that allow for precise adjustments to match the three dimensions of a horse's back.

Our system is patented and used worldwide. We have a range of custom options to suit your needs and design your dream saddle! Specialized Saddles founder, David Kaden, started competing in the sport of endurance racing in 1999. David’s love for horses led to the development of an adjustable saddle, which he ultimately received a patent for. He now owns a top endurance saddle manufacturing company Specialized Saddles, and the western saddle division TW Saddlery. David believes all horse perform better when their saddle fits, and he has dedicated his life to relieving back pain for horses though the use of his patented adjustable fit Specialized Saddles.

At Specialized Saddles, we know that no two horses are built alike, and that's exactly why adjustability matters! From Arabians and Quarter Horses to gaited horses and even Mustangs, our saddles are designed to accommodate a wide variety of builds.

Meet Puzzle, an 8-year-old, 15-hand Devils Garden/Modoc Mustang ridden by Phoebe Chambers in her Specialized Saddles Ultralight!

Puzzle may not have the typical build of an endurance horse, but that certainly hasn't stopped him and Phoebe from enjoying the sport! The pair recently completed three consecutive days of limited-distance rides at Moab, Utah, with Puzzle getting stronger each day.

Phoebe hopes their journey encourages others who may think their bigger, heavier-built Mustangs aren't suited for endurance riding. With patience, conditioning, and a willingness to give it a try, these horses can accomplish more than you might expect!

We love seeing horses of all breeds and builds out enjoying the trails in their Specialized Saddles. Congratulations to Phoebe and Puzzle on their continued adventures!

Taking a look back at Rita Eiesland Holen and her horse, Best Habib, who brought home the NM Gold in 2017! 🏅

Rita and Best Habib made a great team, competing in their Specialized Saddles Ultralight, featuring our adjustable fitting system designed to keep horses comfortable mile after mile.

Congratulations again to Rita and Best Habib on this wonderful accomplishment! We love looking back at the memories our riders have made over the years.

"I couldn't be more proud how far we've come to just qualify to enter the Arabian Horse Association CTR Championship ride...and then to come home with the win against seasoned horses and riders makes this even more meaningful. My heart is full, Diva gave her all and is so deserving of this award!"

There's nothing better than hearing about our riders reaching new milestones!

Tammy Rauch from Kentucky recently purchased a beautiful Specialized Aussie Ultralight saddle, fitted by Specialized Saddles representative Dee Silliman. Tammy and her horse, Reece, have already put their new saddle to the test, completing their first 50-mile endurance ride together in it!

Here's what Tammy shared with us:

"Reece and I finished our first 50 mile endurance ride in our new Aussie ultralight saddle. The terrain was steep, rocky and slick as it was lightly raining but it was a great ride. I'm looking forward to my next 50 mile endurance ride as we work toward bigger goals."

Steep climbs, rocky trails, slick footing, and a little rain didn't stop this team! We love seeing our riders tackle new challenges and set their sights on even bigger goals.

Congratulations, Tammy and Reece! We can't wait to see where the trails take you next. Thank you for sharing your story with us!

Starting the week with some kind words from Specialized Saddles customer Chrissy Knight!

“I love my Specialized Saddles! I have two. A Eurolight and a Trailmaster. Once you learn how to adjust the shims and cushions it's so easy to refit.”

Thank you, Chrissy, for sharing your experience!

One of the biggest advantages of our 3-D Adjustable Fit System is the ability to make adjustments as your horse's shape changes over time. With interchangeable fitting cushions and shims, you can fine-tune the fit without having to purchase a whole new saddle.

One saddle. Adjustable fit. Built for the long ride.
