The Summit on the Park Annual Shutdown will take place from September 7 - September 11, 2026. The facility will close at noon on Monday, September 7, and reopen on Saturday, September 12 at 7 a.m. In addition, the Summit on the Park will be operating under Fall/Winter Business Hours effective September 12, 2026, as outlined below.

FALL/WINTER HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday-Friday: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. (Aquatic Center closes at 9:30 p.m.)
Saturday-Sunday: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. (Aquatic Center closes at 7:30 p.m.)

Get ready to rev your engines! The Bartlett 200 returns to the Summit on the Park on Saturday, October 3. Race fans of all ages are invited to this family-friendly event featuring meet and greets with ARCA race car driver Brad Smith and stock car driver Doug Litogot, plus plenty of opportunities to collect autographs and snap selfies.

Race fans aged 7 and up will have the opportunity to race other fans in a contact-free pedal car race around a short track for a nominal fee and Amaizeing Dawgs will be onsite with food to purchase.

Attention, Heritage Park Visitors! Starting Tuesday, September 8, the Heritage Park splash pad will be closed for the season. Come take advantage of it while it’s still open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily (weather permitting). There is no admission fee to use Canton's Splash Playground, which is located next to the Summit on the Park at 46000 Summit Parkway. For more information, visit www.cantonmi.gov/148.
