This month, we’re talking about what it means to be NEEDED—recognizing that each dancer brings something important to their class, their friendships, and our CDA community.

🌹 Preschool Theme: Sleeping Beauty
Our preschool dancers are stepping into a fairytale this month with Sleeping Beauty-inspired music, movement, and imagination woven into their classes.

👯‍♀️ Bring-a-Friend Week | September 14–19
Dance is even better with a friend! Dancers are invited to bring a friend along to their regular class. No dance experience needed—just come ready to have fun! Sign-up link in bio.

Today is officially the FIRST DAY of our 2026–2027 dance season, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our dancers back into the studio! 
Here’s to 37 weeks of dancing, growing, learning, laughing, making new friends, and creating memories together. 🩰 
Whether you’re joining us for your very first class or coming back for another year with your CDA family, we’re SO happy you’re here!

At Canyon Dance Academy, we believe great teaching starts with a commitment to keep learning ourselves! From CPR training to Acro certification and team collaboration, our staff is continuing to build their knowledge and skills so we can provide the best possible experience for our dancers and preschool students. 
As we prepare for our 2026–2027 dance season beginning August 24 and get ready to welcome our preschool students on September 8, our team is busy learning, planning, collaborating, and getting excited for another amazing year!

Are you 12+ and looking for a fun way to get more involved at Canyon Dance Academy? Our Teacher’s Assistant program is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience, help younger dancers, and grow your confidence in the studio! 🩰 
TAs can earn $5 toward tuition for every class they assist! 💃✨
