100 workouts for Alisa!
When Alisa started at GROW a little over a year ago, she told us something a lot of parents can probably relate to:
With four kids, making time for herself was hard.
But she also knew it was time to start showing up for herself.
So she did.
Not perfectly. Not with a schedule that magically became less busy. And definitely not because every week suddenly became easy.
She just kept finding ways to make it work.
Sometimes that meant a different class time. Sometimes a week wasn't as consistent as she wanted. Eventually, she added semi-private training alongside group classes.
And all of those weeks have now added up to 100 workouts.
Along the way, she's gotten stronger, become more confident in the gym, improved her everyday movement, and made meaningful changes to the way she thinks about food and taking care of herself.
At 50 workouts, Alisa described one of the biggest things she'd learned:
“To give myself grace. Some weeks are awesome, and some just are not and that's ok too. One movement at a time, one workout at a time, just don't quit.”
And now she's at 100.
If you're waiting for your schedule to become perfectly predictable before you start taking care of yourself, you might be waiting a long time.
Sometimes you just have to start, and then keep figuring out how to make it work.
Congratulations on 100, Alisa!
