Help Us Keep Cal Club Racing Live!
Hi Cal Club Members,
First, I want to thank everyone who tuned in to our most recent race weekend at Buttonwillow. As many of you know, we experienced some significant technical difficulties that affected the quality and reliability of our live broadcasts.
The good news is that we've identified a solution.
We know what needs to change to deliver a more reliable broadcast. The challenge isn't finding the technology or figuring out how to make it work.
The challenge is having the budget to implement it.
That's where we could use your help.
I don't charge Cal Club to live stream our events. Cal Club is my home club and I built my system using Cal Club races as my test bench. As a thank you -- I've always said I'll raise the money to keep these live streams going.
We currently have, and have had over th years, some great partners. They've covered my costs... but we need to some more funding to really deal with these tech issues.
Every dollar we raise from Cal Club members goes directly toward producing Cal Club live streams.** Those contributions help pay for the technology, connectivity, equipment, and people needed to bring these races to your screens.
There are several ways to get involved:
- **Business Partnerships:** If you own a business, or know one that would benefit from reaching the Cal Club racing community, we have partnership opportunities at several levels.
- **Individual Contributions:** You don't have to own a business to help. If you enjoy the broadcasts and want to contribute a few dollars toward keeping them going, every contribution makes a difference.
- **Connecting Us With Potential Partners:** Sometimes the most valuable contribution is an introduction to someone who believes in supporting grassroots motorsports.
Our goal has always been to give Cal Club drivers, teams, workers, and families the kind of coverage this racing community deserves. We want to continue improving that coverage, but we can't do it without the community's support.
