Super Truck 66

Super excited to be racing GT4 America at Circuit of the Americas! Today’s practice was short and tough but Matt Million has been great coaching me up to speed.
We have been bumped up to ProAm, but this race is a 3hour enduro so lots of opportunity to continue improving.

Matt will do the qualifying tomorrow morning and the race is 5-8pm tomorrow afternoon.
Team AutoTecnic has brought in the A-list crew so our pit stops in the #53 BMW M4 GT4 should be spot on.

Thanks to all the guys for dealing with the Texas heat and putting in the tough work.
About 30 cars in the field to take the green tomorrow….it will be fun!!!

Truck is on the way to Miller Motorsports park in Utah for the NASA 6 Hour race Sunday. Last race of the Season and 1st and 2nd are tied and we sit in 3rd just 20 points down. Anything can happen!!!
We added a few aero items for the last race at Willow Springs and it really help this old brick of a truck in the high speed corners.
Hopefully it works in Utah also!!

Willow Springs round 1 Nasa WERC 3 Hour enduro
It was a wild event. Started with Qualifying in the rain but it looked dry enough to run slicks for the race. We started 12th and by lap 4 we were P1! Yes some others were on rains. Then it started raining and it was their turn at the front.........
We dropped to 10th fighting the Truck on Slicks in the rain. The track never got to puddles which is what I was waiting for so we did not come in for Rains. Well after about 20 minutes of white knuckling it the rain stopped, and slowly the track dried and the lap times came down. P8 P4 then there we were back in Lead P1 again with just 45 minutes to go!
Ran our fastest lap of the night on lap 59 .....then on lap 62 with just 38 minutes left.....Big brake problem ..coasted into the pits our day was done.
Right front brake caliper broke right off the spindle. Probably a loose bolt. Early season ugliness now out of the way.
We had also lost the throttle return spring which could have been real bad. Lucky we have 3 since we lost two of them.

Truck lives on to fight another day.
Congrats to Prototype Development Group and the Factory 5 GTM for another win!

Coldcock Whiskey Supertruck P1 for tonight's 3 hour race at Buttonwillow raceway park. A little trouble in qualifying creating a little extra work.
Qualified ahead of the Porsches, now we just need to stay there!!

We finished 4th behind 3 Porsche GT3 cars. It was a great run but just couldn't keep up the pace for long enough as this was a 45 min race. Thanks to my crew!!

Coldcock whiskey super truck will lead the field to start today's NASA National Championship race!! After two days of racing we won the pole position.
Going to be a tough race today at 12:00 with gt3 Porsches and corvettes chasing us down.
