🌊🤿 AN AWESOME WEEKEND OF DIVING ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN! ⚓

Dive One Charters had the pleasure of hosting Waterfront Dive Center’s Advanced Open Water students for an incredible weekend of diving and training on Lake Champlain!

🌙 Saturday Night: The students boarded Dive One for an exciting night dive on the O.J. Walker shipwreck. Exploring this historic wreck after dark gave the students a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and experience an entirely different side of diving.

☀️ Sunday Morning: We were back on the water for a two-tank dive to the Providence Island Shipwreck and Ferris Rock, giving the students even more opportunities to expand their experience and put their training into practice.

The students did a phenomenal job throughout the weekend and are making significant strides in advancing their scuba diving knowledge, skills, and experience. 👏🤿

⚓ And the diving didn’t stop there!

Dive One Charters also had the pleasure of taking several divers out on a charter to the Waterwitch and Champlain II shipwrecks.

Despite the recent rain, visibility was outstanding — much better than we expected! The great conditions made for another fantastic day of wreck diving on Lake Champlain.

Congratulations to all of the Advanced Open Water students on a successful weekend, and a huge thank-you to Waterfront Dive Center and all of the divers who joined us aboard Dive One!

We love helping divers explore the incredible wrecks, dive sites, and underwater history that Lake Champlain has to offer. 🌊⚓🤿

🎣 36 Fish. Trophy Catches. A Vermont Master Angler. What a Day on Lake Champlain!

Recently, Dive One Charters had the pleasure of hosting the Charbonneau family for an unforgettable day of lake trout fishing on beautiful Lake Champlain.

A huge thank you goes to Anderson Brown, whose outstanding knowledge and guidance kept us on the fish all day long. The results speak for themselves:
🎣 36+ fish landed in just 6 hours!

The competition was close, with Michael and Amber each landing the day's heaviest lake trout at an impressive 10.5 pounds!

The highlight of the day, however, belonged to Ben Charbonneau. Along with catching multiple trophy lake trout, Ben also landed an incredible bowfin, earning him his Vermont Master Angler designation by catching five different qualifying trophy species within a single calendar year.

As the captain of Dive One, watching Ben realize he'd reached this incredible milestone—and seeing the excitement on his face and the pride from his parents—was something truly special. Moments like these are why we love being on the water.

While Dive One Charters is best known for scuba diving adventures, this trip proved our vessel is also an outstanding platform for family fishing trips. It's definitely something we may explore more in the future!

Congratulations again to the entire Charbonneau family, and a sincere thank you to Anderson Brown for making this such a memorable and successful day.
