✨CCTC Spotlight: Cara Po***ck ✨ Cara started playing tennis and pickleball about 20 years ago and was immediately hooked. One of her favorite things about racquet sports is the social aspect—the friendships and connections she's made, and the sense of community racquet sports create. Cara's experience volunteering with Special Olympics in high school inspired her career as a Special Ed teacher, where she spent 35 years helping students learn and grow. She brings that same energy and compassion to THRiVE, where she volunteers regularly with Adaptive Tennis, Wheelchair Pickleball and the VA's Whole Health initiative, in addition to supporting other programs and events. In addition to volunteering, Cara is a Pickleball Ambassador. Outside of Center Court, Cara enjoys reading, gardening, raising her chickens and taking walks with her dog. We truly appreciate her dedication, positivity and support, and are grateful to have her as part of the Center Court family!
