13u Action at Ballparks of America during the MID-SUMMER SHOW DOWN!

What is Ballparks of America its actually an OLD OUTLET MALL. How cool is that.

They turned the parking lots into 5 Replica MLB Fields.

Then the Stores that once were...they turned those into DORMS for the boys to stay at ALL-WEEK LONG.

Someone asked my SON. Whats your FAVORITE part about Ballparks of America OUTSIDE of baseball.

He said "THE DORMS", staying with my buddies all week long hanging out every Night til midnight.

You guys the PARK is basically taken over by 11-14 year olds all week long...parents ( Coaches are the babysitters :))

This is definately a great place to take your travel-ball team if you are thinking of "where should we go next" ! HERE.....100% HERE!

⚾️ GOOD BOY BASEBALL FALL TOURNAMENT—YOU HELP US CHOOSE! ⚾️

This fall, Good Boy Baseball wants to take on a two-day tournament in October, but we need your help deciding where to go! 👇

🤠 VOTE #1: ROCKER B RANCH—TEXAS
Located outside of Dallas, Rocker B is a secluded, ranch-style baseball experience with seven baseball fields, lodging and everything right there together! Give us all the Texas baseball weather and that full team experience! 🌵⚾️

🌴 VOTE #2: JACKIE ROBINSON—MIAMI, FLORIDA
Baseball right outside of South Beach? Yes, please! We could play ball and turn the weekend into a beach getaway for the players and families! ☀️🌊⚾️

So, where should Good Boy Baseball head this October?

🤠 Comment #1 TEXAS for the ranch-style baseball experience!

🌴 Comment #2 MIAMI for baseball and beach weather!

Texas baseball or Miami beaches—which one gets your vote?! 👇🔥

⚾️ DAY ONE AT BALLPARKS OF AMERICA ⚾️

First, let’s talk about how incredible Ballparks of America truly is! This one-of-a-kind youth baseball facility features five replica MLB stadiums, giving players in age groups from 11U through 14U the chance to compete on fields inspired by some of the most iconic ballparks in baseball. ⚾️🏟️

Teams can even stay together in their own on-site team suites for the entire tournament week, making the experience feel like a true baseball camp and creating memories these kids will talk about forever.

Ballparks of America offers so much more than baseball, too! There’s laser tag, an escape room, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, an on-site restaurant, a pro shop and even laundry facilities. Everything is right there, making it such an amazing place for youth baseball players and their families.

And parents, this part is for you! They recently built the Element Hotel, and it is literally about 67 seconds away from the fields. Being that close makes tournament week so much easier. You can quickly run back to the hotel between games, grab something you forgot, cool off or take a break without having to drive across town. It is such a game-changer for families during a busy week of baseball! 🙌🏼🏨

Day One is all about the excitement! The teams get their first look at their rooms during the big room reveal. The moms go all out decorating the suites, bringing fun décor, snacks and all the little extras that make the boys feel special and at home for the week. 🎉🍿

After the room reveals, everyone heads to the Family Feast, where the players and parents get to eat together, meet new people and start building friendships.

Then it’s time for Opening Ceremonies! All of the teams and families come together as each team playing that week is introduced. There’s music, fun activities and so much excitement for the week ahead.

And because the boys are never ready for the fun to end, they finish Day One by staying up late and playing Blitzball together. ⚾️🌙

That is Day One at Ballparks of America: room reveals, family time, new friendships, Opening Ceremonies and kids from 11U to 14U making baseball memories that will last a lifetime. 🩵

This year at the Good Boy Baseball Experience, we wanted to offer more than just a fun week of baseball. We also wanted to provide our players and families with valuable education and guidance as the boys prepare for the next stages of their journeys.

We were honored to bring in Brandon Mozley from Moz Knows, a former MLB scout, to speak with our families about scouting, what scouts look for in a player, showcases, development, and the college recruiting process.

With several of our 14U players heading into high school, we felt this was the perfect time to begin these important conversations. Our goal is to give families a memorable baseball experience while also providing knowledge and resources that can help the boys understand what it takes to continue playing at the next level.

It was such an informative and valuable session for both our players and their parents. Thank you, Brandon, for sharing your experience and investing in our boys! ⚾️

If you’re interested in getting your son a personalized baseball evaluation from Moz Knows, comment MOZ ⚾️ and I’ll send you the link to all of Brandon’s information!

“At the end of the day, it’s just a game.”

But for us, it has never been just baseball.

Good Boy Baseball was created to give these boys something bigger than wins, losses, stats and trophies. Of course, we want them to compete, develop and play great baseball—but we also want them to leave each experience with more confidence, stronger character and friendships that stretch far beyond the field.

Baseball teaches them how to handle failure when things do not go their way and how to stay humble when they do. It teaches them resilience, accountability and how to keep showing up for the people beside them. It gives them coaches who believe in them, teammates who have their backs and families cheering them on every step of the way.

One day, they probably will not remember every score, every at-bat or every tournament result. But they will remember how they were treated. They will remember how they were encouraged, how it felt to be part of a team and how proudly they wore that Good Boy jersey.

They will remember the late-night games, the dorm-room laughs, the new friendships, the team dinners, the celebrations and even the hard moments they worked through together.

That is what Good Boy Baseball is all about.

It is creating an experience where boys from different states can come together, compete, grow and walk away feeling like they belong to something special. It is about helping them become better players, but even more importantly, better young men.

So yes, we care deeply.

Not only because of the game itself, but because of everything the game is teaching them along the way.

More than baseball. More than a team. It is an experience they will carry with them long after the scoreboard is forgotten. ⚾️🩵🐶

⚾️ DAY TWO: A LITTLE BASEBALL HISTORY AT SHO-ME! ⚾️

On Day Two of the tournament, we headed out to historic Sho-Me Baseball, an older ballpark tucked near Table Rock Lake—and this place has so much baseball history!

Sho-Me was founded in 1958, making it one of the oldest established baseball schools in the country. For generations, young players have traveled there to learn and play the game. The camp was founded by Ernie Nevel and Goldie Howard, who both had ties to Major League Baseball, and former MLB greats were connected to the program through the years. Its showcase field was later dedicated to Bill Virdon, a Missouri baseball legend who played, coached and managed in the Major Leagues. (

This was also the only field during the tournament where the boys were allowed to swing their drop-three bats—every other game was part of the wood-bat tournament!

And Broxton Lavergne took full advantage of it, absolutely crushing a bomb for a HOME RUN! 💣⚾️🔥

One of the coolest parts of Sho-Me is its old-school scoreboard. Look closely and you can actually see someone behind it manually changing the numbers as the game is played! It felt like stepping back in time and experiencing baseball the way it used to be.

What a special place to play, and what a memory for these boys! 🩵⚾️ Ballparks of America
