What a great day of Diving. Calm seas, 1 foot or less, great visibility and great friendship on the New Venture out of Orange Beach. Mike Watson completed his Wreak and Deep Dive open water dives. What a great wreak to complete the courses. Big thanks to The Boat Down Under. Captain and crew did an awesome job. While everyone was blowing bubble on the first dive, hotdogs were cook on the grill for lunch. Two other stealthy divers from Deep South Scuba were on the boat, Steven Alexander and Zachary Dylan Johnson. Always great to see these two on a dive.

Here we go folks, we’ve had several requests from our Destin/FWB area divers for a NIGHT dive trip to the USS Oriskany. So here we go booking now for a 29 Aug ,Saturday evening/night 2 tank dive. Must be AOW and Nitrox qualified. This will be a 6-8 hour trip departing out of Shalimar. Snacks, water and sandwiches will be included.
We will supply chem lights, anchor line strobes. We will meet at Shalimar Marina ( Two George’s) at 5:00pm for manifest Call and brief, call now to book!! $ 300 per diver min of 4 ! Nitrox will be provided free of charge if using our tanks.

It has been a long few days. They were very enjoyable for all. I had more pictures but I decide to take my phone down to 112 feet to spear lion fish. The diving was awesome with Taz's Excursions Diving as always.

Day one we speared 35 lion fish and day 2 we speared 75 lion fish. Chris Flaherty Jr. ( Moose) even speared a snapper. I had a great time with Michael, Max, Nick and Moose. The gulf had great visibility from 40 to 60 feet.

Once again a great time was had with Johnny and Nick at Taz’s Excursions Diving. If you’re in the Ft Walton area looking for great diving give them a try. You will not regret it.
