A post recital note from our team:
Good Morning D4D Family,
Now that recital is finished, We would like to say a heartfelt thank you for a wonderful season & show. We are so proud of all of our dancers and are grateful for the opportunity to teach each one of them. π
Thank you to the 1:00 show for being so quick in assisting with the audience medical emergency. Our D4D family truly stepped up and shined through during this scary moment.Β
While the way we released dancers in the first 2 shows was a weird form of efficient chaos, we tried a new system in the third show which worked much quicker, safer, & much more efficient which we will be saving and implementing in future years! We appreciate the patience and understanding as we learn every year how to make each show better for your children & families. π
We are so proud of all of our dancers! Every single child present went on stage & personality truly shown through! As a studio owner, watching our young leaders work with your children brought tears to my eyes. I watched Β young assistant on stage with a dancer and turned around to another holding hands, taking deep calming breaths with another and my eyes filled with tears of joy. These are moments the audience doesnβt necessarily see but the teamwork and inclusion these young dancers are learning is truly happening and I canβt be prouder to see it happen. ππ₯Ή Beautiful dancers? Of course we want that but a safe, loving, inclusive place for all is what we aim for and watching it come into action fills my heart with so much happiness.
Again, thank you for being a part of our 9th season! We hope to see you into our 10th for an even better season, as they truly get better each year. π₯°
With love & gratitude,
Sara & Team
