Monday!

Woof. Anyone have days when you just don't quite feel 100%? Could be for lots of reasons... however choosing to show up anyway is what counts.
Squatting today I felt weak, and my weight was lower than what I usually do. So I didn't keep climbing and I even lowered my reps. (After I missed a rep)

But it still happened! No PR, nothing crazy ground breaking. Except being willing to still try... and that's where it counts. Wanted to share with you all, so you know it's not always a fabulous smooth ride to reaching goals but that's okay! It makes our character & minds stronger.

Today started with going to the doctor thinking I had something wrong with me, (I had a bump on my abdomen) I don't 🙌 yay!!
So to celebrate I decided to take a break from my usual squat routine on Mondays and went for deadlifts. And got a PR at 305 😁💪 it wasn't the prettiest... a little cat back but im still going to celebrate 🍾

It made me realize sometimes taking a break from something isn't bad... and you may come back stronger than you were before.
So here is to taking time away and coming back stronger.
