Most people think wrestling is wrestling—but wrestling for Jiu Jitsu is a different game.
In sport wrestling, the goal is to put your opponent on their back and control them for points. In Jiu Jitsu, we have to account for submissions, guard pulls, sweeps, and the constant threat of chokes and joint locks. That changes everything about how we wrestle.
Coach Aaron’s Wrestling for Jiu Jitsu Clinic will teach kids how to:
• Finish takedowns safely and effectively for Jiu Jitsu
• Win scrambles and dominate transitions
• Wrestle up from bottom positions
• Control opponents without exposing themselves to submissions
• Build confidence on their feet
Whether your child is new to wrestling or looking to sharpen their takedown game, this clinic will give them valuable skills that translate directly to Jiu Jitsu competition and training.
