The Harvard Hoops family would like to pass its condolences on to the family of Tom Stemberg. Tom was our most ardent supporter. He loved Harvard Basketball and we loved him back. We celebrate his life every day that our players step on the court and fight and scrap. I'm sure he will be looking down on our community with pride for the years to come. Thomas Stemberg, co-founder of Staples office supply stores, died Friday in Chestnut Hill, Mass., after a two-year fight with gastric cancer. He was 66.
