Standing 150 feet tall and weighing 465,000 pounds, roughly the equivalent of two blue whales, the SkyStar Wheel features 36 gondolas and more than one million colorful lights. From the top, riders can take in panoramic views of Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline, and the sparkling Bay.

Nearly 250 runners signed up, 155 ended up testing their limits on this 52.4 mile run. Basically 2 marathons, first loop at 10:15PM the day prior to SFM, and the second at 5:15AM day of SFM! 🌁
