It's the most wonderful time of the year! The Boston marathon debauchery week kicks off TOMORROW.

We’re following the lead of some of the boldest and best events in the world, and embracing our virtual insanity. For the first time in the history of the world the BH3 Marathon event will become a fully virtual experience!

Chat with people on events, post pictures, and earn points for your kennel! 3pts for participating in a given night, 1pt for joining the whatsapp, and other points as awarded during each event. The kennel with the most points get a prize.* We'll have one zoom room for all of the events with a zoom requirement. Link to be included in the email.

Monday, 4/12 - Rhode Island H3 Marathon Event. Share a photo of yourself in shiggy. Start: rolling, throw your pic in the marathon whatsapp group!

Tuesday, 4/13 - Pink Taco Trotter movie night. Get in, we're watching Legally Blonde (available on Netflix). Start: 8pm ET.

Wednesday, 4/14 - Ballbuster Distance Challenge - run miles, carry things, earn points! Start: Rolling, Zoom Circle: 7pm ET

Thursday, 4/15 - Boston Moom Trivia! There's an in-person running portion for this too, but keep your eyes peeled. Start: TBD

Friday, 4/16 - The virtual equivalent of a beer mile, a power hour! Start: 9pm ET, theme/video inputs welcome.

Saturday, 4/17 - Main event! More details will be emailed out. A virtual running trail not your thing? DJ Goaty is going to be spinning tunes for a dance party on-after. We'll also have flip-cup going on in the same zoom (breakout rooms). Come rage!

Wankers & Bi**os,

Boston H3 invites you to join our virtual MARATHON EVENT.

We promised something fun over 4/18, and we fully intend to deliver. We're keeping the theme - focusing on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which taught us that staying 6ft apart from each other (or behind a giant wall spouting insults) can lead us to greatness (or bunnies with great big mashing teeth!).

WHAT: Boston H3 Virtual Marathon HOW?: We'll be doing a photo scavenger hunt. It's gonna be awesome.

Greetings hashers,

The BAA, city of Boston, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts have decided to postpone perhaps the precipice of performance, the marathon r*ce, due to COVID-19. We (Marathon Chairs & GMs) believe it would be foolish - but like in a “dangerous to society” way, not a “hashy risks are fun” way - to hold the BH3 Marathon Event over the weekend of April 17th-20th.

The BAA just announced the new marathon date, September 14. Since the marathon is our spiritual scissor sister, we’re postponing our event as well. The new date for the Boston H3’s Flying ‘Marathon’ Circus event is September 12. Still the same event you know and love, with the week full of prelubes, just a brand-new date. Rego for the September event will remain at $99 until August.

We appreciate your understanding in all of this. It is makes you mad, or frustrated, or angry, shot-gun a beer, take a shot of fireball, go for a run, or scream into the existential void, and repeat until it's time for the oral s*x! Or maybe just start with that; it is very perilous!

Local?
We will do something - more than a normal trial - to celebrate the true patriots left in town. Detrails to come soon - keep an eye on the calendar (www.bostonhash.com/calendar).

Quick note on crash space:
- People who have already been assigned crash space - we will check with our volunteers to make sure the new dates work for them. If they do, you are all set!
- People who are waiting for crash space - you’ll get paired up with someone closer to the event.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing beer is no basis for a major event! Do we care? NO! After all there's nothing wrong with you that an extensive trail can't prolong. Join us for our Marathon main event, where we'll we seek holy grails (of beer), quest for shrubberies (and shots), and be known as the r*nners who say "on-on" all throughout Boston.

And now for something completely different.
