Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club

Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club Founded December 8, 1941, the Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol club has been dedicated to Marksmanship, Sportsmanship, and Fellowship for over 80 years.

The club is both NRA and CMP affiliated and offers year round competive opportunities. The Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1941. It presently operates in two locations. The indoor pistol range is located in the Indian Creek Shooting Center, 5950 Gun Club Road, Georgetown, Indiana. Bullseye Pistol is shot there on Wednesday and Friday nights. Additional shooting may be added s

oon. Other shooting disciplines may be scheduled on different days on a once a month basis. The outdoor range is near Borden, Indiana. It is owned by the club and is open to the entire membership daily from sunrise till sunset. During a scheduled match, the outdoor range is closed to other activities. Due to the range layout, members must coordinate among themselves to safely shoot at the different positions.

🚨 Attention SIR&PC Members 🚨

A member recently attached a target directly to one of the outdoor range number boards.

The number boards are NOT target holders.

Target backers for member use are available in the storage area behind the berm and are designed to fit the target carriers on the range.

When shooting at distances less than 200 yards, targets must be positioned so that bullets do not strike the number boards while still safely impacting the front of the target berm or backstop.

Please remember that our outdoor range is maintained by volunteers. The hand-painted number boards represent many hours of work by fellow club members who donate their time to keep our facility safe, functional, and enjoyable for everyone.

Every member has a responsibility to help protect club property and maintain a safe shooting environment. If you witness unsafe or destructive behavior, please report it to the Board of Directors.

⚠️ The Board considers placing targets on the number boards to be willful destruction of club property. Any member caught doing so will be subject to immediate dismissal from the club.

Please respect the range, respect the volunteers, and help us keep SIR&PC a place we can all be proud of.
