Some stats from Saturday’s high school open tournament in Franklin GA. Can’t say enough about the work these athletes are putting in to achieve their dreams of playing at the next level.

Our team batting average for the weekend was .488!

Catchers increased their caught stealing percent by 18% on steals (now passing the 50% threshold).

We had one strikeout on offense all weekend. One athlete had a 1.000% OBP…she got walked (or HBP) every single at bat.

Of note, we were playing on a 300’ field with no temp fence 🤦‍♂️. We would have had three HRs on the day if remotely close to 200’ field. Despite this, we still had a (ITP) Grand Slam from one of our 2027 athletes (Emmaleigh Smith - currently uncommitted). She hit the ball so far they had to use a double relay to get it in.

Another of our uncommitted 2027s (Felicity Curtis) had an .833 avg AND 2.042 OPS!

Can’t wait for showcase season!

Played a HSO tournament in west Georgia today and wound up undefeated champs!

Bats came alive and we took the ship in a 12-2 game. Pitchers were on point and best they’ve looked all season…same with hitting throughout entirety of the lineup.

Now we start showcase season.
