POST FROM THE OWNER š

*deep breath*
I donāt know where to even beginā¦..
If youāve followed the journey The Bar Fitness opened April 2021ā¦.the following week Kayson was bornā¦.3 weeks later, after a C-section I went back into work. Owning a new business with a newbornānot for the faint of heart. I was blessed to have an incredible staff from day oneā¦.but this being my first business I wanted to be there as much as I was able to. I had the best support team and I could not be more thankful for those members that rode with me since the start and who are still w me now. The real true OGs. And also the biggest cheerleader and supporter of it allā-thank you the mostā¦you know who you are.
Moving onā¦.The Bar seemed like a dream. Smoothie bar with real ingredients, fresh pressed juices, smoothie bowls, childcare, a gym with top of the line equipment and 45 minute classes that literally caters to every bodyā¦.everything I would want in a gym space.
Couple years go byāwe hit some highs and lowsā¦a lot of stress backed with a lot of laughs and great moments watching clients grow mentally and emotionally. Literally my dream job situation. I love the process.
Fast forwardā-we made the executive decision to downgrade and move the business to (our) home.
Few months later decided I wanted a store front again when the perfect space became available. So I took a HUGE gamble. This time in my own corner. February 2024 we opened.
Sweat 45 was a vision. One Iāve seen in other cities and countries that we didnāt have here or near here. I wanted to bring something different and unique that wasnāt your cookie cutter over priced gym. And we did. From the floor up we took an empty building and demoed the space and created our (help from my dad and grandpa the most) spaceāfrom tearing up floors, painting, to laying baseboards etcā¦it was work.
Now we are hereā¦August 2025. Life has thrown me many changes over the past 2 years both personally and professionallyā¦.mentally fighting my own battles. If you know me well, you know I have a hard time saying no. Iāve worked 3 jobs over the past 2 yearsā¦there have been days Iād work 24 hours if you include driving and go change clothes and straight to the gym to start another day. Going some days 48 hours of no sleep. Itās broken meā¦itās worn on me and I was in and out of the business while also trying to makes ends meet with other jobs while also being the most present mom possible. Itās š beenš hard š.
With that said. The opportunity for me to walk away from Sweat 45 has come. I LOVE WHAT I DOā¦but only when I can mentally and physically give it everything I got and show up. And Iāve been more than spotty in that particular area. It is with an extremely heavy heart that this is an end of a road for myself. My OGs especially I can not thank you enough. You have been the reason I get out of bed at 4 am every day. I genuinely love each and every one of you and have loved growing with you not just physically but just knowing you and your lives. Anyone that has ever stepped foot ināeven just to get a smoothieā¦I appreciate the opportunity and chance. Warner robins is a tough townāsaturated by franchisesāitās HARD.
Next week (August 11th-15th) is our last week openā¦.it is honestly a bittersweet feeling.
If youād like to pop inā¦drop in for one last class or the whole week (you wonāt regret it) $5 a class would love to see yall šš
