So today she showed up to run. She ran the 400m, 200m, and 100m. I'm extremely proud of her today, mostly because we gave her somethings to work on, for the 200m and she made the adjustments! Last week she ran a 27.4 in the 200m, today she PR'd major, running a 26.5!!!! Putting her at #2 in the US!!!! Today she finished 1st in the 100m and 200m and 5th in the 400m!

I'm also proud of her team, we took 17 athletes to the meet and came home with 32 medals and an endless number of PR's!!

March 4-5, 2023

Semaj went to Virginia Beach, to compete in track and field indoor nationals. She brought home 2 All American titles, 3rd in the 60m 8.39 and 6th in the 200m 27.51... I'm always proud of her!!!

Lane #2 100m 13.13 (Pr) finished 2nd
Lane #5 200m 27.4 (Pr) finished 2nd

She simply amazes me, everytime she touches the track... she currently stands #6 in the US, #4 in GA, in the 100m. #9 in the US and #4 in GA, in the 200m!

Our weekend started out alittle slow, but Semaj qualified for regionals in the 100m PR 14.14 and 200m PR 28.86... finishing third in both events. I'm always proud of the progress she is making!!

Track meet this weekend, Peachtree ridge high, Track Lap Championship. 1st place LJ 12.10, 2nd 100m 14.22 PR and 2nd 200m 29.84... I'm always proud of her... the season is just getting started... Carlos Brooks.
