We are SO excited to officially welcome our newest Student Teacher, Mila!

Mila has been dancing since she was just 3 years old, training across a variety of dance genres and growing into an incredible competitive dancer along the way! Now, she’s taking everything she has learned and sharing her love of dance with the next generation of Stardom dancers!

We couldn’t be more proud of her and can’t wait to watch her grow as a dancer, mentor, and teacher! We know our littlest dancers are going to LOVE learning from her!

✨ MEET THE OWNER | MISS KIMBERLY ✨

Hi, I’m Miss Kimberly, the owner of Stardom Dance Academy! 🌟

Can you believe this is already our 8th season?! 🥹✨ What began as a dream has grown into a dance family that means more to me than I could ever put into words.

A little about me… 💜

🩰 I earned my Dance Minor from Elmhurst College
✨ I trained professionally growing up through an academy-style dance program
🎶 My absolute favorite style to dance is Hip Hop (give me a good beat and I’m happy! 😂)
🌟 I’ve always believed that dance is about so much more than learning steps—it’s about confidence, discipline, creativity, friendships, and finding a place where you feel like you belong.

Owning Stardom has allowed me to combine my love of dance with my passion for creating a positive environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can grow. This year I am so excited to bring our Anastasia production to the stage! 🤩

💕 Meet Miss Taryn! 💕

“Dance with confidence, move with strength, and never be afraid to take up space.”

Miss Taryn here! 💕 I’m SO excited to be heading into my 5th season at Stardom Dance Academy!

Dance has been a huge part of my life. While earning my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago, I also had the opportunity to dance professionally at both Six Flags Great America and Walt Disney World!

When I’m not dancing, I’m usually chasing around my two favorite little people, Nico (7) and Mila (5), who is officially joining the competition team this season! 💗

I love watching dancers find their confidence, push themselves, have FUN, and become the best versions of themselves. I can’t wait for another fun, crazy, dance-filled season with all of you!

Here’s to dancing with confidence, moving with strength, and never being afraid to take up space. ✨💗

✨ MEET THE TEACHERS ✨

As we gear up for another exciting season at Stardom Dance Academy, we thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to the incredible teachers who make our studio so special. First up, meet Miss Tara! 💫

Miss Tara has only known a life of dance, and has continued to hone her craft throughout her many years of performing. She earned a minor in dance from Elmhurst University alongside Miss Kim, her dear friend. When she is not creating stories through dance, she is writing them in books as an author. Miss Tara is a mother of two and is a lover of nature and moody storytelling.

Miss Tara will be teaching a variety of classes at Stardom this season, and we are especially excited to welcome her to our competition team! She will be choreographing a competition dance that will take the stage at all of our upcoming competitions and Nationals. We can’t wait to see the story she creates and watch it come to life on stage! ✨
