🏫 BPS BOND PROPOSAL: ROUND TWO! 🗳️

The Bismarck School Board has approved a revised $116.5 million bond proposal, which will head to the ballot on November 3, 2026.

The revised proposal is smaller than the one considered in June and continues to focus on priority needs across BPS:

🔐 Student Safety
📚 Learning Spaces
🎨 Student Opportunities
🔧 Facility Improvements

The June proposal received 58.68% approval. North Dakota law requires 60% for a school bond measure to pass.

🗳️ November 3, 2026 — make your voice heard!

If you have any questions regarding the bond, please call or stop in! At Will-Moore, our biggest concern is accessibility. We are not accessible to the upstairs and downstairs. Our bathrooms do not fit a wheelchair. We currently have students utilizing wheelchairs and walkers…this poses a big concern. We want all students to have a strong sense of belonging. 💙🐾💙🐾

Also today our 4th graders were able to visit BHS and learn more about the Pow Wow.

On Thursday, Sept 10th our whole school will walk to BHS and watch dancers perform in the front lawn. All are welcome! It begins at 10:15 am. Bismarck has the most amazingly talented youth! You will get to see Will-Moore students dance as well! 💙🐾💙🐾💙

Today our fifth graders took an adventure to their classmate Silas‘s garden. Students found many berries that will be used to juice and can! Elderberries were very popular! Thank you for letting us visit. We continue to learn by doing!

BHS homecoming is coming up soon and they would love to see the future students and families attend and participate! Tailgating will run from 4-6:30 in the parking lot of the bowl with games and free food! We plan to join their dress up days at Will-Moore!

We are thankful on this raining day to have Mr Wolf, The Chess Guy, here at Will-Moore teaching chess to all our 1st-5th graders! Our kindergarten students will be taught in a few months as well!

Our Kindergarteners are seen here driving their cars and learning how to have no car crashes. They can drive slow, medium, and fast.
Our 2nd grade students were taking time to calm their body and mind before going back to class in gym class.
