🏁 Coastal Karting Is Back! 🏁

It’s been a few years since Karting the Coast held its last event—but that doesn’t mean the checkered flag has fallen on locally promoted kart racing along the Mississippi Gulf Coast!

Coastal Karting has been refined, reset, and is ready to return to racing at Finishline Performance Karting in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Serving as the operations arm of the VKA Fall Fling on October 30–31, Coastal Karting will handle the “boots on the ground” responsibilities for event promoter Little River Promotions.

This promises to be an incredible weekend as vintage karts and racers from across the country—many of whom are already registered—share the facility with today’s modern Briggs 206 and KA100 competitors. It’s a rare opportunity to experience karting’s history and its future at one exciting event!

And the action won’t be limited to the track. The VKA Fall Fling will be livestreamed online, creating valuable exposure for racers, teams, event sponsors, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and the sport of karting.

The coast is ready. The racers are coming. Let’s go racing!

This is not the layout that we are using for VKA Fall Fling - Biloxi Beach Grand Prix. With 7 different configurations, this track never disappoints. The breeze off the Gulf can't be beat!

RACERS! Its time to start thinking about making your pre-registration plans for this event. Hotel costs will be incredibly inexpensive in the fall for this event, and we have included a few lodging options on this page and on our coastalkarting.com page for your convenience.

I cannot emphasize the importance of pre-registration for this or any karting event. Pre-registration makes the event run much more smoothly. For those of you who have never put a race on, Im here to tell you... smooth makes us want to do this again in the future. Those who use the excuse of weather....guess what? Rain is a threat on the Gulf Coast 30% of any day, even when there is no threat on radar. It's a way of life. Should there be rain, the track dries very quickly, and the facility has a track blower as well. 20 mins after a rain we are back to racing with slicks! So don't let weather punk you out of this event.

CIK racers! The local racers have been asking to go back to Biloxi. Here is your chance! This is a first-of-its-kind event, mixing Vintage karting and modern karting in the same event. WE ARE SUPER STOKED!! AGAIN- check out the coastalkarting.com website for a full listing of classes. 206 Cadet, Kid kart, Jr. KA100 Jr and Sr. will round out our CIK Modern classes. AND YES! We're running the ROK configuration!

The event will also be live-streamed, a first for any Vintage Karting Association event.

With additional Pre-registrations coming in, we have been working to bring discounted lodging options for the VKA Fall Fling.

Holiday Inn Express in Late Oct will have great rates acorss the street from the beach at this time is booking at $117 and up. This location is about a block away from the track with easy traffic to and from the track and hotel. I have always found it best to call the hotel directly to book as they will provide you the best up to date rates. (228) 436-0201

Most of thes beach locatioins do not book ROOM BLOCKS unless they are secured up front.

The only hotel on the beach is South Beach Hotel and they had 3 rooms left yesterday at well over $200 a night. While its across the street from the track and a very nice place, it migt be more than many are willing to spend.

If you would like something a bit ore upscale but not bank breaking I have those options as well and would be happy to send them to you directly upon request.

Most of the casinos have hotels. Harrah's, Beau Rivage, Hard Rock, Margaritaville, Treasure Island are all within a few minues drive to the track.

GOOOOOD Morning!!!

We have many cool things going on with this event for our competitors.

1-First VKA event to be live streamed! YES. we're doing al we can to offer the best possible promotional opportunitiesfor the sport of Vintage Karting!

2- Yes there will be a mix of Modern classes, AGAIN- another layer of promotional opportinity. Many younger racers have never experienced vintage karting. This is where the next generation of VKA member will be coming from.

3- The first VKA race on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. YES we are litterally across the street from the white sugar sands of Biloxi Beach!!

4- We are currently working with local and regional media, both television and radio to provide featured segments on their local events updates and coverages.

5- Dont forget pre-registation IS OPEN. We have had several pit spaces and registrations file in. Please remember that you can only reserve your pit space once you have entered your class.

6- Id you scroll through this page you will find updates for RV camping and lodging options. Yes you may Boondock camp in the pits. However there is a campground within walking distance.

Lastly, we look forward to seeing you all at this event. You are not going to be disappointed. Biloxi has so much to offer and the track is incredible. We will be posting a few open pratice dates for those who would like to come and get dialed in!
