Some goals sit quietly in the back of your mind until one day they get loud enough that you just have to listen. 🧠✨ For Sandy Hicks, that moment came last December. A thought crept in and would not leave. “I wonder if I could do it?”
exprealty has been part of the Fit Evo family for close to seven years. You might know her as a familiar face in the early morning hours or maybe you have crossed paths with her in the Bellingham real estate world. What you might not have known is that behind the consistent workouts and the steady routine, she was quietly building toward something incredible. 💪
By January 1st, the decision was made. She was going for it.
On May 2nd, Sandy stepped on stage in San Antonio in the physique division of a natural bodybuilding competition. Two weeks later she did it again in Idaho. She took first place at both shows. 🥇🥇 Oh, and she did all of this at 63 years old. 👏
The road to get there was not easy. Sandy will be the first to tell you the workouts were the straightforward part. It was the food that tested her. The meal planning, the measuring, the constant prepping and packing, and saying no to every birthday cake and holiday spread that showed up between January and May. That part was relentless. 🍽️
She kept her plans close for a long time, not ready to say it out loud until she knew she could see it through. When she finally opened up, the Fit Evo community showed up for her in a big way. 🤍 Walking on stage she was scared to death. But she did it. And she says it was the time of her life.
If you have a goal sitting in the back of your mind, Sandy’s message is simple. Go for it. Just to say you did. 🙌
We are so proud of you, Sandy. This one is well earned. 🏆
