CrossFit Tri County is a strength and conditioning facility that helps individuals, athletes and teams achieve elite fitness through constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. Bellingham next to Quiggs Gymnastics, in a 5,500 square foot facility that is 100% CrossFit. We scale load and intensity, not programming. Elite athletes to grandparents can take

the same class and work and sweat beside one another. At CFTC, we work together to break down our barriers and do things we never thought we were capable of. MURPH at CFTC 🇺🇸

At CrossFit Tri-County, standards matter.

Murph is not about ego.
It’s not about trying to impress people.
It’s about honoring Lt. Michael Murphy and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

That’s why at CFTC we focus on:
• Full range of motion
• Smart scaling
• Integrity
• Quality movement
• Supporting each other
• Leaving ego at the door

There is ZERO shame in scaling.

Wall push-ups.
Box push-ups.
Knee push-ups.
Ring rows.
Partner Murph.
Run modifications.

All are respected when done with effort and integrity.

What we DON’T want is partial reps and ego-driven movement that teaches bad habits and breaks people down over time.

At CFTC, we coach movement for longevity.

A full range wall push-up is MORE valuable than a half-rep RX push-up.
A full range ring row is MORE valuable than a sloppy pull-up.
A squat below parallel builds strength, mobility, and integrity that carries into life outside the gym.

The weighted vest is earned here.

For years, Coach Scott challenged his coaches and advanced athletes to first prove strict pull-up strength and movement quality before adding the vest.

And they did.

Some of those athletes eventually completed Murph in 40–50 minutes wearing the vest with FULL standards and strict pull-ups.

That’s what earning it looks like.

You can wear the vest for the runs if you choose.

But at CFTC, standards matter.

Murph is a HIGH-volume workout, which is why smart scaling matters.

At CFTC, we talk openly about avoiding overtraining and serious issues like rhabdomyolysis (“Rhabdo”), a dangerous muscle breakdown that can happen when athletes push beyond what their body is prepared for.

That’s why we focus on:
• Smart scaling
• Proper pacing
• Full range of motion
• Quality movement
• Long-term health and longevity

We want you pushing hard — but we also want you healthy, recovering well, and able to train again tomorrow.
