The most common question we get from new members has nothing to do with fitness or nutrition.

The most common question new members have is... “Where did the name WICKED FITNESS come from?”

The answer is actually pretty simple.

We’re born-and-raised New Englanders, and around here “wicked” isn’t a bad thing. “Wicked” is one of the highest compliments you can give.

Wicked fast.
Wicked strong.
Wicked smart.
Wicked awesome.

When we started Wicked Fitness, we wanted a name that reflected what we hoped our community would become.

Not just stronger in the gym.

Wicked strong parents.
Wicked strong spouses.
Wicked strong friends.
Wicked strong professionals.
Wicked strong when life gets hard.

Our mission has never been about six-pack abs or a number on the scale. It’s about helping ordinary people become the best version of themselves so they can live a wicked awesome life!

I’ve tried.
I have a whole gym at my house
I’ve had a YMCA membership for years and never go.
I’ve spent hundreds on random supplements.
I can’t stay consistent.
Working out is a drag.

We received this picture from one of our members this week along with a message that made our day:

“Thank you Wicked Fitness. Three years ago I would not have been able to climb this!”

THIS is exactly why we do what we do.

When people first join Wicked Fitness, they usually talk about losing weight, getting stronger, or fitting into old clothes again. Those things matter, of course.

But what really excites us are moments like this.

Moments when someone realizes they can do something today that would have felt impossible a few years ago.

No deprivation diet. No magical unicorn workout.

Just consistently showing up, even on the days they didn’t feel like it.

Three years ago, this climb probably looked intimidating.

Today, it’s a memory, a photo, and proof of how far she’s come.

It’s easy to forget how much progress we’re making when we’re living it day to day. Then a moment like this happens and it hits you.
