Strong Moms deadlift!

The deadlift is a critical pattern to get and stay strong with…especially for moms!

Whether the kids are still in diapers and always being asked to get picked up, or the kids are in college, a mom has (or will) deadlift thousands of times in their lives.

Maybe that’s why we these look so good!

What is a HERO PARENT...

There's a version of you that says yes.

Yes to the hike. Yes to the pickup game in the backyard. Yes to the spontaneous bike ride on a Saturday morning.

And then there's the version that's too tired, too winded, too uncomfortable in their own body to fully show up.

One of our members described it perfectly. Before he started training, his energy was so low that he wasn't participating in family life the way he wanted to. He was present — but not really there.

That changed.

Now? He says if his kids called him tomorrow and said "Dad, let's do a 50-mile hike," he'd have zero hesitation. Zero doubt about whether his body could handle it.

Here are TAW Athletes Elisabeth and Rob (husband and wife, mother and father) who have been getting after it together for years now!

It's outstanding when one parent trains, and when both train, there is a powerful transformation for themselves, and the future health and fitness success of the family unit i s undeniable.

Not only the physical, but maybe even more importantly, the mental!

Why?

As another great TAW Athlete and mother explains...

Like many TAW Athletes, she came in with pain, convinced her days of skiing, hiking, and being active were behind her.

Check one of the MANY mother and son combos we have training at TAW...and dad is also in just not in the pic!

One of our members said she didn't really do anything special.

She just started training and talked about how much she loved it.

Her husband joined. Her son joined. Her friends joined.

Another dad said his daughter now eats better because of the food choices she watches him make. His daughter's interest in sports and fitness has grown every year since.

That's not some random fitness quote.
