Beckley Water Company is experiencing some discolored water from Beaver to Flattop due to maintenance being performed by the state contractors. We are flushing in the area to clear the lines.

For the second consecutive year, Beckley Water Company earned top honors at the West Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association Water Taste Test Competition. Water produced at the Glade Creek Water Plant was selected as the best-tasting drinking water among 18 participating utilities from across the state, further demonstrating Beckley Water’s commitment to delivering high-quality drinking water to its customers. As the state champion, Beckley Water will have the opportunity to represent West Virginia in the national AWWA “Best of the Best” Water Taste Test Competition, where section winners compete for national recognition.
