What a day! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out for our annual August Outdoor Card Show this weekend and helped make it such a great success!

First and foremost, thank you to all of our vendors. You brought an incredible variety of sports cards, Pokémon, TCG, memorabilia, sealed product, singles, slabs and collectibles — and, more importantly, helped create an awesome atmosphere for everyone who walked through the show.

And to every customer, collector, family and friend who came out to support the show — THANK YOU! Whether you bought a card, made a trade, sold something, dug through value boxes, found a new addition to your PC or simply stopped by to hang out, you helped make the day what it was.

The parking lot stayed busy, deals were being made all day, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. Seeing collectors of all ages buying, selling, trading and sharing the hobby together is exactly why we love putting these shows on.

At the end of the day, the cards bring us together, but the people make the hobby what it is.

From all of us at The SportsRoom & The Card Guild, thank you to our vendors, our customers and the entire local collecting community for another amazing Outdoor Card Show. We couldn’t do it without you.

2025 Topps Chrome Football Patrick Mahomes Kaiju Ultra Case Hit

The Kaiju inserts have quickly become one of the most desirable chase sets in Topps Chrome Football, with an estimated print run of just 240 copies per player. Pulling Patrick Mahomes—the face of the NFL—from one of the toughest inserts in the product is an incredible hit.

🚨 THE COOPER FLAGG NBA DEBUT PATCH AUTO HAS BEEN HIT! 🚨

And the story behind it is absolutely insane…

The collector who landed the 1/1 Cooper Flagg NBA Debut Patch Autograph reportedly spent just $515 for the Dallas Mavericks in a 3-box break with RhodyBreakers.

$515. Three boxes. Cooper Flagg 1/1 Debut Patch Auto. Congrats to the collector and RhodyBreakers on an unbelievable pull!

But here’s the part people need to understand…

THE CHASE IS FAR FROM OVER.

This isn’t a product where the biggest card gets pulled and suddenly the value disappears. There are roughly 5,000 cards estimated to be worth $10,000+ EACH still represented across this release. Let that sink in. ~5,000 potential five-figure cards.

Between NBA Debut Patches, massive rookie and superstar autographs, ultra-low-numbered parallels, Logoman-style memorabilia hits and some of the biggest names in basketball, 2025-26 Topps Basketball has arguably become the most valuable basketball card release we’ve ever seen — at least so far.

The Cooper Flagg Debut Patch was one of the crown jewels. Now it’s been found. There are still thousands of monsters waiting to come out of boxes. Who hits the next one?

Only 10 copies exist.

To put this into perspective, two PSA 8 examples sold last year for nearly $30,000 each. This one appears to have a legitimate shot at grading even higher, making it one of the biggest cards we’ve ever seen come through the shop.
