Though active and fit, Stephanie joined with Type 2 Diabetes, due to a family history of it.

Just three months into training, she has gained 2.2 pounds of muscle and is now off Metformin, the prescription used to treat Type 2. She showed up Tuesday all aglow, having just heard her doctor say, “you don’t need it anymore.” 🎉

Ladies! You get toned by building muscle - not by “toning” (whatever that means.)

You build muscle by lifting heavy weights. Barbell training is the most effective, efficient way to do this.

Nautilus machines won’t do it. Bodyweight exercises won’t do it. Barre, bands, bosu balls won’t do it.

Six days in the gym with long workouts on eleven different machines won’t do it.

The stress > recovery > adaptation cycle is the reason our members see such outstanding results.

When you lift a weight that is challenging for you (the stress), you’re essentially telling your body it isn't strong enough yet.

After you leave the gym, your body goes to work repairing that "damage" through rest and proper nutrition (the recovery).

But here’s the good part: your body doesn’t just return to its original state, it actually builds itself back slightly stronger than before to handle that same stress better next time (the adaptation).

Most gyms don’t care if you show up as long as you keep paying. In fact, that’s their business model—to move as many people through quickly as possible. Maximum profit, minimum effort.

we do exactly the opposite. Small classes, careful coaching, maximum effort from both coach and client.

We care if you come and worry when you don’t - which is why you’ll always hear from your coach to make sure you’re ok.
