Another great summer practice is in the books, and we’re officially down to ONE more practice before camp! 📣🎉

Today’s dress-up theme took us through the stages of life:

👶 Freshmen: Babies
😎 Sophomores: Teenagers
👨‍👩‍👧 Juniors: Parents
👵 Seniors: Grandparents

From pacifiers and baby dolls to walkers and grandma glasses, these athletes fully committed to the theme and gave us plenty of laughs today! 😂

While we’re having fun with dress-up days, we’re also putting in the work as we prepare for camp and continue embracing this year’s theme: UNITE. Every practice is an opportunity to grow closer, work harder, and become stronger together as a team.

One more day until we load up and head to Hot Springs! We can’t wait to see what this weekend has in store for us.

💕 NCA Camp Day 2 – Pretty in Pink! 💕

BJH CHEER ❤️🤍💙 had an outstanding day at camp today! These athletes continued to grow and improve in every area. We made great progress in our stunts, worked on an awesome pyramid and hit it several times, and put in the work on our band dance.

We also worked on situational chants and absolutely killed it! 📣

The team earned several red ribbons, had lots of All-American nominations, and continued to show what hard work, determination, and teamwork look like.

These kids are really showing up and showing out! Watching their confidence grow with each session has been so exciting. We are proud of the effort, attitude, and heart they bring every day.

Today’s dress-up theme was: Dress as something that starts with the first letter of your name! 🤪

From creative costumes to some pretty funny interpretations, these athletes definitely understood the assignment! Now it’s your turn…

As we continue working toward camp and embracing this year’s theme, UNITE, we’re having a blast building team chemistry, making memories, and growing together each day.

✨📣 BJH CHEER – NCA Camp Day 1 ❤️🤍💙

Kicking off summer in the best way possible! ☀️

💗Today at NCA Camp, our BJH Cheerleaders learned a new Gameday Cheer, Band Chant, and an adorable dance routine! We focused on technique, sharpened our skills, and really stepped up our stunting game. 💪📣

The team worked hard on:
⭐ Extension Preps
⭐ Straight-Up Extensions
⭐ Half-Up Extensions
⭐ Quick Ups

Most importantly, they brought amazing attitudes, encouraged one another, and showed a true willingness to learn and grow together. We are so proud of the effort, determination, and teamwork they displayed today! ❤️🤍💙

Day 1 was a success, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of camp has in store!

Day 1 ✔️

Today marked our first summer practice as we officially kick off preparations for camp in Hot Springs this Friday! 📣

It was so much fun getting everyone back together, catching up, and getting back into the swing of things. The energy was high, the smiles were big, and we’re excited for what’s ahead this season!

As we prepare for camp, we’re also embracing this year’s NCA camp theme: UNITE. We can’t wait to spend this week building stronger bonds, growing as a team, and becoming more united both on and off the mat.

This week is full of fun dress-up days, and today’s grade-level themes did not disappoint:

😎 Juniors: Just Gavin today, holding down the fort!
🏖️ Sophomores: Summer Break
⚾ Freshmen: Baseball

First stunt clinic of the season ✔️

We had so much fun today working on safety, foundational skills, and building trust. This group showed up ready to learn and did an amazing job! We’re so proud already!

This afternoon we celebrated the close of our
2025–2026 Bauxite Varsity Co-Ed Cheer season at our banquet 🤍

It’s hard to believe how fast this year flew by…..and yet, in so many ways, it felt like it moved so slow. Through every practice, game, competition, early mornings, and long nights; we showed up, we pushed through, and we grew.

This team became more than just a group of athletes. You became a family. You learned how to trust each other, lean on each other, and lift each other up; both on and off the mat. Watching each of you grow not only as cheerleaders but as individuals has been the greatest reward.

I am so incredibly proud of every single one of you, your hard work, your resilience, your heart, and the way you represented our program this season. And more than anything, I am so proud to be your coach. It is truly an honor to pour into a group like you.

A huge thank you to our administration, fellow coaches, students, athletes, and parents for your constant support of this program and of us as coaches. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the lessons, and the love this season brought. I will carry it with me forever.

Wishing each of you nothing but the absolute best in all that’s ahead. Once a Miner, always a Miner 🖤🤍
