As they say, all good things must come to an end. The 11U Sluggers - Shoptaw team has decided to go separate ways for spring 2026.
This has been an amazing team to watch over the years and they have accomplished so much as a team, as individuals, and as a family!! The milestones they have achieved is nothing short of amazing, including multiple championship wins in 8U, 9U, and 11U. District champs in 11U (banner at Sardis ballpark to forever remember this) and just as many 2nd and 3rd place wins.
The coaching staff has been phenomenal, past and present. But to Coach Tyler, none of these players would be where they are without him. They all looked up to him and respected him. Tyler Shoptaw, the way you coached this team is something you should be very proud of and remember for years and years to come!!
To the parents, fans, and even the haters 😉…thank you for making this Sluggers team what they were. These boys aren’t done, they are just growing in different directions. We’ll see you all on the ballfields!!! ⚾️🧢
