We cater to everyone from the general public to athletes of all sports. We hand pick our equipment from around the country and pride ourselves on having some of the most rare, sought after, badass equipment in Michigan. Located inside the old Mongolian King restaurant in the Battle Creek Plaza.

All membership dues are put directly back into the business with the goal of building the best equipped gym in SW Michigan. We are locally and veteran owned. Help support a family owned small Battle Creek business.

The Hammer Strength H-Squat “The Legasaurus”! There are less than 300 of these monsters left in the world and this is the only one we know of in SW Michigan. Climb up into it, lay back, and drive the platform in a smooth, natural arc that smokes your glutes and quads without killing your lower back. 🔥HOW TO: Westside Barbell Inverse Curl🔥

From Westside Barbell, created by Louie Simmons, that’s basically an assisted glute-ham raise or inverse leg curl. It targets your hamstrings and posterior chain with perfect form, helping you build up to full GHDs or just torch your hamstrings.

How to use it: Kneel on the pad, lock your ankles in the rollers or on the footplate, chest against the pad. Lower yourself by bending only at the knees – keep your torso rigid like a plank. Pause at the bottom, then drive back up by squeezing glutes and hamstrings first. Adjust the footplate closer or footpads higher to make it harder; add counterweight to make it easier.

Congratulations Claire! Good work

Lakeview is proud to recognize senior standout Claire Van Dis as our Female Student-Athlete of the Month!

A catcher and third baseman, Claire has been a cornerstone of the Spartan Softball program as a 4-year varsity starter and was elected as a co-captain for the 2026 season—a testament to her leadership and dedication.

Claire continues to make history, recently becoming the school record holder for doubles after an incredible 3-double performance in the 2026 SMAC opening doubleheader against Stevensville-Lakeshore.

Her career is filled with impressive honors, including:
- All-City (3x)
- All-Conference (3x)
- All-District (3x)
- All-Region (2025)

Claire’s success is no accident. Her strong work ethic and commitment to improvement show up every time she steps on the field. She leads by example and sets the standard for what it means to be a Spartan student-athlete.

This fall, Claire will continue her academic journey at the University of Michigan.
