The 44th Annual Bryce Ladies Golf Tournament was held Saturday, June 6, 2026. The community banded together to raise funds for charities and programs in Shenandoah County.
This tournament is a perfect reminder that golf is fun, social, and a stress reliever! There were beginners, competitive golfers, and players who came to soak up the positive energy, so needless to say there was something for everyone. Thank you to the committee that organizes this massive event, thank you to the volunteers that make it possible, thank you to the Groundskeepers and Superintendent for keeping the course flawless, and thank you to the Bryce community for making this event a success.

Golf enthusiasts witnessed a penalty during the first round of the 2026 PGA Championship. South African golfer Garrick Higgo was assessed a two-stroke penalty for arriving ONE minute late to his 7:18 AM tee time. The tardiness resulted in starting the round with a double bogey.

Having a successful outing on the course starts with knowing golf etiquette, the first rule of which is “Arrive Early”. The Club at Bryce recommends you arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tee time. This gives you enough time to check in, load your cart, warm up, and be on your tee box at your tee time, ready to hit.

Come practice your golf etiquette as you enjoy a round at The Club at Bryce. Our scenic 18-hole golf course is suitable for individuals of all skill levels.

“Cart Path Only”
Although we might groan when we see this posted, this rule is critical when the golf course is too wet to properly accommodate golf carts.
From a golfer’s perspective, it may seem as a cart won’t inflict much damage on the course, but one golf cart may lead to many carts driving in the same area, which creates wear. When grass is saturated it is prone to ruts, damage and excess compaction, from which grass can’t easily recuperate. Safety is also a concern during wet times. Golf carts are not made for traction and are prone to slippage which could lead to sliding.
When you are golfing and it is “Cart Path Only”, please adhere to the rules. This will ensure that the golf course will stay in excellent condition year round, because we are protecting the turf.
