Week 3 Update for 7th/8th Grade Football.

We begin games now this week! I have included below links to all of the information needed for being able to attend all contests as well as what the students need to have ready for not only practices but games, including information for our live streaming of home games. We will also be starting a new Wednesday practice format that will include reviewing game film on Hudl with the athletes, doing on-field corrections from the game that week and getting into the weight room for strength and conditioning work. As of the start of this week, we are no longer taking on any new players as well. We are all very excited to continue to help each student in the program grow to be their best!

Please reach out to me with any questions or if your child will be gone/late to practice, etc. Moving forward, let's try to work together to make sure all players are at each practice throughout the week, especially the day before the game to best ensure team cohesiveness and camaraderie!

We had a fantastic Wednesday practice where we handed out game jerseys, installed our special teams, found some new great kickers and held a live intrasquad scrimmage under the beautiful Baraboo sun! It was a pretty near perfect day of football all around!

Two more practices before 8th Grade takes on Holmen for a scrimmage in the first contest of the year! 3 more practice days for 7th Grade!

🏈 BARABOO YOUTH FOOTBALL — YOUTH NIGHT! 🏈

We’re excited to invite all of our Youth Football players and families to Youth Night this Friday, September 11th!

🔥 FRIDAY NIGHT TAILGATE
📍 Practice field directly behind the stadium
⏰ 5:30 PM

We’ll provide hot dogs, chips, and water for everyone! 🌭
👉 Please bring cookies or bars to share!

🏈 GAME ADMISSION
Each Youth Football player will receive FREE admission to the game as long as they are wearing a Baraboo shirt.

⚠️ Players must be accompanied by an adult.

🎉 HALFTIME FUN!
Our Youth Football players will be part of some on-field entertainment during halftime!

📣 IMPORTANT: With approximately 4 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter, all players should gather in the North End Zone (JYMS end). Coaches will help get everyone organized from there.
